Effective Partying

Ok, I was leveling my Ninja in the Dunes and I was able to assemble the most kickass party ever. One person of mention was our BLM Hicaadoo.

I was able to coordinate my Huton: Ichi (deals earth damage, lowers wind resistance) with his Aero and we were tearing through Crabs and Gobs.

We had a paladin tanking and healing, with me as backup if needed (very rarely), two BLU mages who kept up an awsome display of Blue Magic on the enemy and a Japanese Corsiar who knew his dice and did a spectacular job.

[Not all japanese players suck ^^]

I just love it when a party clicks so well together. We were getting plenty of chains, the mages were able to recover during battle, so we could just keep up a continuous stream of mobs, and the BLM's casting timing was perfect with my Huton: Ichi.

We got about 6 levels in three hours. Not bad at all in my opinion.

The only bad things that happened was that one crab had super armor and we were doing 0 damage to it. Our BLM was able to cut it down to a very small amount of HP, but then he died because we couldnt get the hate off him. So now we are doing 0 dmg, no weapon skills. I had to {Mijin Gakure} to kill it because it was about to kill our PLD. No problem, I dont lose any exp or anything but my empress band was active at the time, so I died, lost its effect and had to wait 20 hours for it to recharge.

All in all, if you click with a party, you can go far.

Huton is wind damage, lowers ice resistance. Doton is the NIN spell that lowers wind resistance. Regardless, congratulations on the good party.

And you don't lose the EXP band effect when you die.

And saying "Not all JP players suck" basically made me want to disregard your post entirely. Where you are from has nothing to do with whether your party is effective.

I laughed out loud and the ironicy of this statement

Same. And your blm shouldn't have too much trouble getting resisted >_> the elemental spells only lower resistance, not make it do more dmg.

You'd probably do more dmg swinging than nuking for 4 dmg for 4 seconds =o

Hey I enjoyed spamming Ninjitsu pre-burst as war/nin!

Regardless, glad you had a good pt in dunes! But um, this should go in Good Times. :3

My comment was directed at all the people who say that JP players suck in the flameboard. Im sticking up for the JP players.

Yes, my mistake. I had just gotten the spells and I didnt have the names properly memorized.

I lost my EXP effect when I died, so it just must have been the timing of the band in corolation the the time that I died.

Depends on the server.

Hades: NIN75/RDM37
Siren: WAR30/RDM15
Alexander: BLM20/SMN10
Asura: RDM2 (lol)
orly...

Im playing on Alexander right now and I havent played on hades for over a month. On Hades I rarely even used my Elemental Ninjitsu. As a matter of fact, I dont think I even have them all.

So yea, go ahead and laugh, a lvl50 NIN doesnt have all his level 15 spells. Hardy har-har. Ok im over it. Next.

If you would like me to patch up any questions regarding my gameplay:

I buy only the spells I use. If im not going to use it, Im not going to get it. On Alexander, im trying it a little differently and seeing if It will be any different.
I will not buy questable scrolls (Utsusemi, Tonko etc.)
I macro all of my spells/ablilites. "Set and Forget"
I will sub any job I feel will help. Including mage jobs with melee jobs.

Besides, they all sound the same. Its easy to mix up the names.
