Egg-Hunt Event

Anywho... So... anyone know how to get those new event items yet? which combos and such?

if you have the items from last year, get them out of item storage and display them in your house, otherwise you will get them again. I Got a second clockwork egg, even though I already had one. it was in NPC storage.

First 3 letter eggs of your name is a must, even if you've done the event before in previous years. If you've done all of that, you just need to take the first 5 Letters of a region under Bastok, San D' oria and Windurst control. So:

to get the egg lantern, You can hand the moogle eggs of a region you already handed into him before. it'll still give you a new item.

You can pick any region: (( if it is under beastmen control. you will not get the item you are trying to get. so check region maps before trading or getting your letters)

Are the ones i picked then did one of the ones above again to get last egg buffet part.


Once you have all egg buffet parts, trade them to your moogle in your mog house and he will assemble the buffet for you. Trading it to him again will break it apart in to seperate parts again. you can also re-aquire the parts again once you have a egg buffet completely done, if you wanted.

Ah thanks Tim. I had a guide I was following, but it wasn't very clear. Now I feel stupid getting a damn Lantern over and over haha. I've actually never been around FFXI during the egg hunt, so I'm definitely new to it.

Man I really wanna do this event. I want that crystal egg so freaking bad T_T!!! I didn't do this event last year either. I guess I just forgot last time. Hopefully once I get on I will have time to experience this event with my friends.
