Well hello, yonder Quetzalcoatians! It's been a while since I posted on the boards, but since I have something new to show, I guess it's time I came back. :>

Done for my brother (Falkirk), the Galkan Beastmaster. Go, go Courier Carrie!

Sidenote: Drawing Gigas takes some getting used to. The sketch phase was one of the more taxing artistic experiences of my career. I think they turned out alright, though. Monster specialist I ain't. : )

I'm sure I'll get some more stuff up here, soon. I'm currently working on some sketches for my loverly NoizyTribesmen (my only measly way of thanking them for in-game help).

Just to be all up-front and whatnot, I can't take on any unpaid jobs or requests at the moment. The most I can do these days outside of work is small 'thanks' sketches.

Really impressive style. I'm curious, what programs you used to color this picture? I also visited your deviant site, and noticed the same style. Do you do this kind of work for a living? or is it more of a hobby?

The skill level you're at is definitely the kind you see in the animated mangas on tv, so to me this picture is amazing. Very very well done.

Zerayla: I've been a professional free-lance illustrator for the past (almost) 4 years. I love to work on various artistic pieces outside of work, as well, though.

This piece was done in Photoshop CS2 with the use of my Wacom Graphire4 tablet.
 
Holy crap, that's awesome. The only thing that isn't perfect about it is that stupid ribcage of theirs .. I imagine it's hard to draw that even if you're the best. Thing is just so dang awkwardly proportioned .. SE was high when they made it that way. D:
 
No, really! When I said awesome I meant it looks so good I can almost see the drawings moving. It looks like an animation cell.
 
Oh Eiffel, if I could marry artistic talent I'd be out buying a ring right now.

Wow Eiffel, what can i say...as a fellow artist (and certainly not at your lv) is very inspiring to see illustrations of things we mutually enjoy. I've had an art block for the past month or so, seeing FFXI art like yours and getting back in the game has been giving me drawing urges lol.

I truly apreciate your perspective on the game, and i know how you feel about monsters...lol. Just added you on Dev.art.

Well, I just finished another 'thank you' sketch for some folks in NoizyTribe for helping me with my PUP AF3 fight. It was good times.
