Well, having only done a couple of these in my entire existence, i had a few questions:

First and foremost, is it absolutely CONFIRMED that you can get E.Body from Grimgerde's Chamber??? It seems way too convenient for SE's standards if you ask me...

Second of all, i know Einherjar's pretty straight forward, but i'd love to see a page/forum/thread/whatever with Einherjar statistics, drops and strategies, if such a thing exists.

Also, if you feel like sharing your Einharjar experience here, it'll be super welcome!

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, Wiki's my main source of info on stuff, but it's not the kind of strategy and statistics i was hoping for, but i suppose people have to really want to share info to make a site like that.

Thanks though!

E. body is from Odin's chamber

Drop rate is very small, I saw 6 abjurations out of 22,000 ampulas.

Also interested in low-maning these, btw.
EinherTards tried that for like... 3 months. It doesn't work unless you're packed with ridillberk-class equipment or 95% BLMs. Even then, if Ghosts are one of your mobs, you may as well turn around and walk out the way you came in.

With the right job balance, assuming normal gear, 25 people could probably pull it off. If your definition of "low-manning" is one party, Einherjar is a great place to destroy your confidence.

Well, was thinking more arround the lines of 12-18 people - "merit like" setups with blm and sch as mob control.

Thoughts?

You will probally need more around 20+

Kaeko posted that due to the 'handy-ness' of having Graviga and Bindga as sch, it's much easier to crowd control, thus allowing less full-time members devoted only to sleep mobs. I think he's posted a couple times that he does Einherjar with 13-15 members about all the time.

I also agree that luck plays a major role in this, but i'm just thinking of the possibilities and broadning my horizons as to what i can and cannot do, or what is just impossible to do.

Low-man groups are an impossibility. It goes back to what I said before, the players who will have the best chance here are the same ones working towards these items already because they have the resources, manpower and organization to do these things. It'll be some time before the average group can do them as well as the elite. That said, going in with even large groups of around 30 does not guarantee a win because of the sheer number of mobs that do not scale to smaller groups, lack of time given and the randomness of each event. To be prepared for these, you need multipe of all key jobs to make sure you can react to any situation, not just one and with only a few players, you're limited in what jobs you can and cannot bring.

Well I haven't really seen SCH in Einherjar to see the kind of difference they make but depending on how useful their AoE's are it could make a big different.

You won't have any chance in tier 2 or 3 with that few people.

If you're going for Ebody in grimgerde's chamber it -could- be worth a shot. But depending on the mobs/boss you get you'll lose often and if it DOES drop there, its a ridiculously low drop (thinking KC bcnm like) and you'd be lucky to see one in a year..

so ya..

I kind of wish you can accumulate tags like you do Assault rather than having a time limit for reentering. Gathering so many people is extremely time consuming, far more than the 30 mins it takes for a single run and being able to pop off 2 runs back to back rather than spending an hour setting up only for 30 mins and repeating it every time, you can take the hour gathering, pop off a run, and then a short break before a second run. Kind of off topic, but maybe people should suggest that to SE. >.>

Not true. We've done Tier 2 with 20 people and won. tier 3 is almost impossible though. Closest we got with 20 people (22? I think) was a boss time out at 20%. Tier 2 is possible to do with 18, just hard.

We recruited more people now, though, and with 36 we cleared all the waves of mobs before the birdie popped redoing tier 1 for the new guys. Einherjar is a "throw people at it" event, sadly.

There was discussion of this topic on Bluegartr awhile ago. The E. body went into FFXIwikia within the first weeks of Einherjar and it was a mistranslation of a Japanese screenshot that was legs. There is no confirmation of E. body dropping in the early chambers (any of the first 3 wings), but you can't totally rule it out yet considering the extremely low abjuration drop rate in Einherjar.

On the whole though, it seems unlikely that E.body would drop anywhere except Odin's chamber.

I was just guessing, having never tried it with people that low.

I guess they wouldn't get past wing3 then.
