If threads like Figament's in the AH thread are allowed to continue it won't be long until it is full of spam such as "WTS Rock Salt-10 mill". Posting a thread to sell something worth 5-10k for 5-10mil? That is nothing more than worthless spam. No one is going to buy it, it wastes peoples time reading it, and it bumps down legitamate threads. AH board isn't going to be even worth checking soon because it is full of so many rediculous offers.

I only clicked on it once but Figment was selling old holiday event items (like screaming skulls and fireworks iirc) for absurd prices like 3-10mil each. It was an obvious joke topic and had no point being on the AH board.
It has since been deleted. If he had actually presented it as a joke it might have been funny (still waiting to see WTS Rock salt 10mill).
