Multi-Plat Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

My only issues on the PC version so far are sound related. I play on 5.1 surround and the character voices fade in and out depending on where my camera is angled. It's a minor annoyance to adjust to a position where I can hear them.

I'm pretty sure if I'm looking right at an NPC talking to me I should be able to hear the voice in front of me.

Yeah apparently there are more sound problems. The lag I was getting was from the sound channel that Bethesda used vs Windows. Had to change the setting in order to stop the lag.
 
I own the PC version too. So far the only problem I've had is one random crash when I went inside a temple. I was just walking around and it tossed me out to desktop. XD
Other than that I'm having a great time shooting bunnies :)

Skyrim is badass. We knew it would be. I think the amount of dragons you happen upon diminishes after you've killed a certain amount. I have my dragon armor (Light) and am working on my alchemy. Though I jumped into alchemy, enchanting, smithing and archery right away, I worked hardest on smithing and got that done.

The amount of glitches I've come across is beyond retarded. I kinda think my console itself is partly to blame however, Bethesda always has glitches in their games it seems, but they're massive and awesome so I always forgive them. But this time around it seems the condition of my console itself may have something to do with it.

Outside Whiterun Stables I have a glitch that hasn't corrected itself. One of the NPC's has glitched and duplicated, ... so I have 2 of the exact same NPC walking about at any given time, sometimes saying the exact same thing at the same time. There have also been times where items on a table or shelf have disappeared from sight but when you drag your cursor over the area the item options still show, they're there.. .just can't see them?

Anyone else experience these types of bizarre glitches?
 
No glitches here except for in my Windhelm home where I have a set of Dragonplate armor on one of the mannequins. He is glitched showing only his head but none of the armor is shown and the body vanished, the other two mannequins are fine but that one is glitched. Outside of that I have only frozen twice, unlike in New Vegas where it seemed like I would freeze every ten minutes I played. Playing on the PS3 btw.

What first happened with the 2x npc was he first dropped in the ground and got stuck. I tried fast traveling back and forth, as well as attacking him but neither worked. Then eventually when I fast traveled his duplicate was there. They're both now walking around practically on top of one-another talking to me at the same time...

I originally took this shot b/c it looks dirty =p

My brother and I have found out that our horses can fly O_o. I just dismounted to grab some flowers and suddenly my horse starts floating lmao. Sadly for him, what goes up must come down, so he died shortly after trying to compete with the dragons for the sky lol.
 
The only problem I have with the game lately is that I am constantly killing my companions/animals. I use a bow pretty much exclusively, and I have shot to death a dog, two horses, and two companions. I try to keep them out of my line of sight, but they move around so much.

So there has been a steady incline in the glitches I'm getting in game, AND.. they're not righting themselves :\

I bought the home in Solitude, and 2 of the bookshelves have eaten my books etc. I can no longer access the inventory on either shelves in either bookcase. The books/notes etc have disappeared from sight and when I scan the area (as other glitches still have the items available, just invisible) they're not there...

When I try to select hitting 'A', nothing happens.

I also screwed myself out of a quest. I was supposed to follow someone through, I believe, a hidden passage behind a massive statue, but I took too long by uncovering the location THEN fast traveling home to drop off excess weight, when I returned the NPC had passed through the hidden passage and it's now 'closed' and I can't seem to go further. The NPC indicator is still up, showing him on the other side of the wall =(

Oh and the first interesting glitch with the duplicate NPC is now at 3, there are 3 muthafooking identical NPCS...

And with ALL the crazy glitches, I'm still happier than a pig in shit with this game. <fanboy yea

Also, I think you can stop bookshelves from eating books if you remove them manually (or something).

Yes thank you! I have been using a few different sites to help me get past the many glitches.

One aspect of the bookshelf glitch that I don't mind, after having removed my items from one shelf (visibly they remained), esthetically I liked that they remained in view because I could then apply them to another shelf. Nothing worse than a barren home ;p
 
I tried installing the game onto my harddrive to see if it would right some of the glitches, aaaannd so far it hasn't made any difference. I really think my console is on it's last life though. I'll just have to go buy a couple new ones.
