Elemental staffs

you know when you casting a song as brd what differnce does it make if you equip the elemental staffs..... e.g. if i equip fire staff with valor minuet?

Buffs not elemental staves... if you want any bonus go with the +skill on chanters.

On the other hand with debuffs i will murder kittens if you cast in anything other than the correct elemental staff.

Sleep with light/apollos
Requiem with light/apollos
Elegy with earth/terras
then if you feel it necessary u can get the staves for therondories aswell which are as follows

Ice therondory would take fire staff
Lightning would be earth staff

Elemental staves work on just about everything that's offensive and has an element, to be honest. Light staves work on blu heals, elemental staves work on blu nukes, and as Deja posted, the proper element stacks with the proper debuff.

The bard augment dagger can roll Spell Recast Time -X% which is really dandy for casting buffs, but yeah, seconding sticking to the proper stave for debuffs. HQ bonuses apply, so Terra's Eleseal Nightroub Elegy is like, super-slow. Its how we killed Black Shuck. >.>
