Anyway thanks everyone, it's good to be back. I thought about making a Real Life thread, maybe i will, but this seemed like a nice alternative to begin posting again. I've been busy and didn't feel motivated enough to post in forums for a while. I needed a break.
So expect some more work from me including the stuff I did at school (couple of them actually went into a show).

This is part of a triptych (wow sad i had to look up the spelling) I had submitted for an art show at school. I'll post them all separate but put them all together at the end.

Yeah, a lot of school of it is school and some other stressful stuff. Mostly stopped playing FFXI because of money issues.

Second part triptych. I say second but really it's the third. I had to wait to work on this till I had all the tree branches connected on the other two pieces.

Needs some explaining. This triptych as a whole tells a story of a girl and her bear. The bear triggers all these memories but it is revealed they are not good ones. The theme of my fall semester was memory so pretty much every art class was working with the theme. I also did a memory project for my graphic novel class go into the show too.
This was all a big lead up to a guest speaker that is coming to talk today, Art Spiegelman (guy who wrote Maus). Heard he's kind of a dick, hope he blasts my work.

I like the middle of it the best, when it heads from subtle to intense then to sorrow.

Whoops! I meant to say it was meant to be read clockwise from the green piece (green blue red). But it's cool you got that interpretation from it. I like to keep things open so people can figure it out in their own way.

So I submitted the Seed, Sow, Reap (i need a better title) to a juried show here at school and didn't get it. I wouldn't feel bad if not for all my friends getting their stuff in. Oh well, rejection is part of life.
Anyway here's something colorful.

That's a good idea. If anyone wants a desktop sized picture of my work I can make it happen. Just nothing to radically big.
