They did say a long time ago that the game is and will also be a japanese game, and everyone else is kind of like a guest to their servers. I know it's stupid, but during patch times since this game has no regional servers someone is going to lose out, why should it be the game's own region?

I'm sure an american game with muli national services would do the same, because no matter how you look at it someone loses out.

RF online did it, during it's NA release they set the wed. maint. time to 3 am est., which kind of screwed over the EU on our server I think since it wasn't 3 am (sleepy time for normal humans) for them. But hey, if someone loses out, it shouldn't be your biggest customer group. ;)

Sorting the spell list is such a royal pain in the butt, and now we have to do it again.....

I KNEW IT!!!! All of you called me crazy for it, but I KNEW IT!!!
 
You know one day I pray and hope that at least one maintenance wont be right slap bang in the middle of EU prime time :(. Ah well if it's needed it's needed. However it's funny that "Emergency" maintenance can wait till AFTER JP prime time. If it's an "Emergency" just kick us all off and get it done.
 
So wait.. it's 2pst(5est) the next day and the games still down!?
