Um...i cant seem to get the emoticons to come out right. It might just be my computer sucks, but i'm not sure. Is it supposed to say "roll" and not show a pic for the eye rolling emoticon?

I can't get them to work for me either. I've got the same problem that Mauibuilt has!

The emoticons were turned off by Sculli, but unfortunately there's no easy way to remove the emoticon images from the posting template. You can see what options are available to use in a post in the "Options" box displayed underneath all the emoticon images.
Because you can't easily get rid of the images on the left, I just left them usable on my LS forum.

The problem with emoticons is that some people tend to overdo it, and you end up with one gazillion emoticons in a single post, or in one thread. While some of them are funny, a screen full of blinking and rolling around emoticons gets old quickly.
In general I am not opposed to turn them back on hoping it doesn't become an issue. Perhaps I will put a poll up and see what the majority of the users think.
