Emperor Hairpin help!!!

I got in BIG trouble wouble one min ago ; ;
I turned in one Selbina clay when I saw my friend was around Emp camp so I went there but he seemed to be AFK so I tried to get his attension.

Anyway Vlk.Emp poped and I casted Dia since I'm not that dumb o.O
I knew there was no way for me to kill this myself since I was out of mp from saving someone and I didnt bring any weapon since my intention was just to teleport and not to camp.

Anyhow I put up /invite in hope that my friend would invite me but instead I was invited by two Japanese people AND we got drop plus I won lot!

Heres the annoying part. One of these Japaneses which were Ninja wanted to use it so he offered 100k for it since I could not kill it myself he thought it was a fair trade and I didn't even camp for it.

My question is what should I do??? I pressed Alt+Tab to get a little more thinking space but I am in a panic ; ; Should I:
1 save the hairpin för my DRK as I wanted or
2 should I take the 100k and give him the hairpin or
3 should I sell it in the auction house and split the gil among us three?

EDIT: Please fast answers!!! just ideas anything I don't want to log on before this is solved ; ;
Will I look like an ass if I split the gil? Does this affect Japanese custom in anyway I should know or am I the righteous owner of it since I claimed it and loted highest?
 
I'd split the gil but it's up to you :D
 
What about the other JP player? If he dont care, then go with option 2.

I really wanted this thing but I didn't expect it to get served on a silver plate. Especially not a burning silver plate ><

EDIT:
Falsey: Yes that would be the most honorabled thing to do I guess but it will also affect me the most. Is it wrong to be greedy in situations like this?

Yes, definitely split it. Most people would have just let you die THEN claim the mob for themselves. It's only right that you return the chivalry.
 
Umm.. I'd go back in the game 1st and tell them you will split it, before you are Blisted, if not already blisted that is.
 
I'd recommend splitting or (or if you're really chivalrous, take the 100k and give him the pin~), primarily because, as said, they coulda let you die then get it themself..but then again, you claimed it, and that's the main thing that matters....so it's yet choice....but personally I'd go and say split it with em or do the 100k dealy, rather than make NA players look even worse. =P
 
Screw that 90% of it it gettign the pop. 5% getting the drop and 5% killing it...

I say at the least you should ask for 300k. that's 200k off the AH and still an exceptional deal as well they don't have to waste time camping it again.
 
Ok it's done now.
I was about to sell it at the Auction House for 500k (with 10k just for putting the item there) so we would split it 166k each but in the last min he offered me 180k for it.

So in the end we all made a great deal except for his friend who were there mainly to help ^^
