Lol wow you really don't know anything about camping VE do you? There are ALOT more tricks to claiming VE and knowing when he has a good chance to pop but then again, any good businessman would never tell his secrets ^^.

When I started the game back 2 years ago, when I hit Lvl 45, I was in VD almost everyday to camp that damm VE for Emp Pin... guess what? XD I only killed him twice so far because the same person kept claiming it and made me not want to level Ninja ever.. (it's still lvl 20). This person keeps selling the damm Pin over and over (though he quit now). Right now, thanks to this Rare/Ex drop, I'll be back to VD again, but this time, I know there's not going to be a single claimer to this anymore.. It's going to be FAIR!

About PCC, I don't really want that thing ... yet. Maybe when I'm bored and I think +51 ACC would be nice.. lol.

Oh yeah Vang.. how about those who are not buying gils? Have you thought about that before selfishly jacking up all the prices in AH?

As for it becoming easier to get the claim, don't bank on that. I figured I'd check on the Emperor when I got on and there were only about 800 people on (at least 100 of which were doing the NPC quest). He had about 10 people camping him, one of which already had the hairpin (which I'm assuming they were planning to sell after they got the new rare/ex one from camping it). You're still going to have to work to get the claim.

Well I thought they would drop both items, the sellable and the rare/ex but did not really think SE would fuck campers over this harsh and make it true.

I had thought you would quest the rare/ex versions thus not hurting campers as much. All i have to say is this really is bullshit, you can act happy about it all you want and talk shit about people who camp NMs for profit but it sucks for the campers =/

Oh and masamura as long as I have the guts to pay the ridiculous taxes and take the gambles I take (I don't always win) I see nothing wrong with what I am doing, and I am sure many agree even if they hate me for it.

Besides someones gotta take all the gilbuyers and impatient people's money ^^

Anyways i know there are PLENTY of ways to have gil without buying it, hell I was accused of it alot before everyone finally knew my name as one of the better NA hunters.

BUT

When I buy an item to jack it up, that is my target audience, gilbuyers. When I buy something for 800k and jack it up to 1mil and it sells the next day that person is either

A. A gilbuyer
B. Impatient

I have no respect for either, and truthfully, no I do not care about the honest man's gil, I use very legal methods of making mine just as honestly as the next guy. I just don't buy an item for a retarded price if I do not think it's worth it to me at the time^^

i really like this idea. cause i know these items were a good source of gil but they were not meat to be. they were meat to be camped by people who wanted the item and thats it. it was the greedy people who started campin these NMs for the item just to sell. i truely dislike all NM campers. even worse are ones who get NMs that are meant to be killed by low/mid lvl players so they could get the items for themselves.

That's going to totally backfire, sorry. Depending on the droprate, no one's going to pay you if you get the claim. They'll just wait for the next one, and you'll have wasted your time camping and getting the claim. You could always throw it away and get the next claim I suppose, if you don't have better things to do with your time. Seems like it'd just be a better idea to go farm something else that's more guaranteed for success.
