Empress Hairpin Drop..

Go ahead and try it. You'll be in jail I guarantee it. The second you drop that empress hairpin and continue camping in the face of other campers, you're taking a little unexpected teleport trip. This is a developmental change with monumental intent. If you outright spit at the changes, they'll hammer you.
 
This is going to happen at the argus camp, I guarantee it. I would seriously rethink attempting it. It WILL land you in jail. People have been threatening to do this all over the forums already.
 
incase your still not sure vang, its the same thing as killing the RNG quest's tiger over and over again when someone wants to get the bones. you'll get warned once, then you'll go straight to jail.

Oh and Masamura i honestly never knew what xunleashed was till all the noobs on these forums posted about all their dat remover bots, Mr. Argus and all that gay shit End game LSes use and cheaters alike.

Ve has a huuge secret about him, which any experienced camper knows but I trust they won't divulge =p

Edit* not Dat remover bot persay, but removing mobs from the game to spam Voke and hit a specific one. I should clean that up a bit, still super lame IMO.

Tiger for Ranger quest doesn't drop anything.
 
I understand why Vang is upset. I myself am a NM camper, but never camped V.E cause i don't have my thf or rng at the right lvl for it. I camp Mee Deggi, poison hand, as my main source off gil and would be pist if they made there drops rare/ex.
 
NM camping just got even more boring. im so glad greed has no hold on me and i never got into the practice.

.......and that i've only killed the VE once and got the drop first time. :P
 
i personally like this update ^^ once i can get a hold on the new rare/ex items, i can sell my old leaping boots and emps pin for gil ^^.

im that much closer to my scorps harness! wahoo! :D

3.4mil in my pocket, 2.6mil to go
(6mil is the highest ive seen it >< im prepared for the worst case scenario)

Why don't you just tell us what that secret is? It's not like it will help you anymore (unless you are gonna try for the Rare/Ex item too and if so then tell after you get it~). I don't see the harm in it.
 
Uh, this update will give every camper a more equal chance of claiming VE, because people who claim VE over and over again gets better at their VE claiming skill, much to the point of where there is no competition b/w them and the casual campers (except a few lucky ones). After the update, there will be no such people (Hehe, Vang, I know you won't do it, Argus maybe, but not VE, its simply not worth getting hated universally)

Btw, this "secret" Vang talked of is something long-time campers use to throw off less-experienced campers, making them believe they don't stand a chance. There is no secret to VE. Just go ahead and camp it :D
 
Well this part of the update has fucked me over....again...cuz i legitimaely camped LL for money without inflting prices. Now....gotta find new ways to get money. But something i was thinking of....IF all these jackass gilselling inflating people dont like this update...dont you think they woud STILL camp the NM just to throw it away and spit in SEs face? not that im gonna do that...... :wink:

If they did that then they won't be able to do the thing they do... sell gil. My guess is that they'll just search for other ways to to make gil to sell.
I'm not saying what you think is impossible, I'd problably do for a while if I was in their position. :lol:
I would like to camp VE for the Rare/Ex Pin and sell my old pin which I have in Storage, but I'll wait till all this dies down first.

Edit: oh wait, can they still check the bones? Anyway, it's the principle if so.
 
Peregrine, if the Tiger takes damage in any way other than it's own natural HP loss, checking the bones yields crap. =\
 
The way that the following items are acquired has been changed:
Archer Ring, Leaping Boots, Emperor Hairpin, Peacock Charm
In addition, players may receive an EX/Rare or EX item with the same attributes from the monsters who previously dropped each of the above items.

You'll still be able to get Emperor Hairpin just not the same way you did before. This what it seems to be anyway.
 
The secret is to stand in the middle and time the work that other people are doing so that you know when all the placeholders are going to pop. >.> The people who are actually KILLING the placeholders have a tougher time doing that, sadly.
 
I think LL was actually worth camping.
The trick to valkurm emperor is still to farm or craft 800k.
The trick to archer's rings is to farm or craft 500k.
Unfortunately there is no such trick for Argus. :(

How long has it been since you've done the RNG flag quest?

The tiger spawns AFTER you check the old bones. And it spawns claimed to you. No one else can hurt it until it dies naturally.

Personally I'm going to camp VE just as much as I used to before. Yes there's a handy trick you can use. Requires NO third party programs. Just common sense.

No I won't charge people to enter my party and lot on the item. I'll get it. Throw it away. And keep hunting VE.

I'm there for the thrill of the hunt. Screw you SE for taking away another way to make money. It should have been all or nothing. Not just 4 items Rare/Ex. It should have been ALL or NOTHING. They've only moved the problem elsewhere.

Poor poor update SE. You guys just shit in your living room.
