End-Game Item E-Peen Rating!

I couldnt resist. Are you cereal?
Considering most things are blinked tanked by NIN or /NIN, the effectiveness of the shield is mostly wasted and the usefullness is greatly diminished.

I just don't see how a daily pop NM drop is more coveted than a Relic item. Any relic, really.

In my opinion, e-peen means it's gonna turn an eye, or make people go "wow". A genie weskit for example has alot of e-peen on it, but a normal weskit has none, despite the hq being barely better than an nq. Same with sniper ring/+1

Aegis is pure epeen win cause if you own one, people will know. Most relics are like that too. Rare and useful items are obviously better off (claustrum Vs. Aegis, Novio Vs Novia), but a useful and common item (moldavite earring, Noble tunic) will have almost none.

Except Aegis has magic damage taken -25% and and 90% of dmg taken by a pld/nin is....thats right, magic dmg. Not to mention that a shield-block equals 100% spell interruption down. Aegis may be a big shield but it has the blockrate of a size 1, wich means casting ichi after a double attack or w/e when you dont have any shadows is alot easier.

Aegis is a great piece nomatter sub.

Aegis (10)relic
Bandomusha Kote (6) rare and great
Crimson Scale Mail (3) rare, cool looking, almost useless
Gjallarhorn (10) relic
Maat's Cap (7) lot of work, good stats for at least one of the jobs you leveled no doubt.
Peacock Amulet (3) this was epeen a few years ago (I consider it the same as PCC)
Shadow Mantle (4) fun toy, rare, not all that usefull
Shadow Ring (5) rare fun and actually decent for a few fights
Trotter Boots (5) becoming rather common nice boots though.
Yinyang Robe (3) most smns I talk to have it

Bingo.

/nin doesn't mean you have to dual wield.

Yinyang Robe (5) saying so because it isn't as good of a piece as it is made out to be. That emnity +5 can fuck most any smn up when no avatar is out.

............What? O_o

Unless they're soloing, how the hell would a SMN ever pull hate from anything?

The +enmity is for the avatar, not for the summoner, lol. Ugh, I need to get this topic up-to-date.. I'll do it tomorrow.

Um, wow I really hope this isn't serious. I would use YYR while avatar is out and swap the doublet into Blood pact rage.

The part where it says Emnity +5, if you look a little closer you'll see that it says Avatar: Emnity +5. So long as your play your cards right this will not affect you in the least, except if you are soloing your avatar will pull hate back faster (well, you shouldn't ever really have hate to begin with). If anything the Emnity +5 is a positive thing rather than a negative thing.

In most zergs, you're chainspell stunning, but that's the only situation where subtle blow would not be desirable. Cutting down on the number of weapon skills that a mob throws off, especially some of the nasty ones that the mamool have, is a good thing. Thinking otherwise is asinine.

About this, im just gonna quote someone else. It's about a different piece, with more subtle blow, but the logic of how usefull it is in a PT still applies.

In a party, especially a cannon, -9% TP given to the mob from you isn't going to noticably delay TP moves.

Off a single person, no it won't be hugely different because warriors feed shitloads of TP; but if you have more than one monk/nin in your party, the subtle blow is going to be much more noticable. I throw out Chi blasts all the time in cannons so my penance will kick in and that does significantly delay their TP moves, if they even get one off at all.

Yeah, that's great when you exp on Nidhoggs, because it can be annoying with all those wing buffs.

Uhh its actually good on things like Mamools so they don't spam Firespit/Rushing Slash attacks and Skoffins who like to spam AOE paralyze and dispel.

Unless maybe you only merit in the lolmire.

Congratulation on your epeen item btw

It's good anywhere theres moves that either overwhelm, or ignore shadows.
