Multi-Plat "End of Eternity" by Tri-Ace

Well, as should be expected, this demo isn't exactly going to show everything, so we'll have to see what the full game has to offer when it's released. I'll give my impressions of it when I import it from Japan.

You realize it is only a two month wait for you and us, right? I remember people sayin' this game was gettin' about a six month delay between Japanese and EU/NA release is why I ask. It comes out the same week FF XIII does.

Tyrath, it is a very, very lacking version compared everything they have shown/said to be in the game.

I think the music is just awful, worse than Star Ocean 4's even. I don't understand how they can taut such a "high profile" type game with music that bad.

Is it confirmed its coming out the same week as FF13? I know gamestop has that as the date but they sometimes jump the gun.

And I know its not all of it, thats why I still plan to play this at some point because it has the potential to be really fun.

Ho, if it´s coming out the same week as FFXIII expect it to bomb terribly outside of the US.
I´ll probably pick it up, but it´s at near the bottom of my list of games. Shit, we got MH3, FFXIII, and WKC coming out within the same few months.

I had seen on the SEGA blog that they were shooting for a March release date before Gamestop ever had a date up, so I'd assume as of now that March 9th is a done deal unless SEGA thinks it'll be a bad idea to go up against FF XIII opening week.

I'm not sure if you made a mistake here in your wording or what is up. It'll be fine outside of the U.S., hell, the only worry for SEGA should be the market inside the U.S. and Europe (and that's just a maybe, see why later on). By January (release date in Japan) they will have had FF XIII for a while and probably put it down for a bit, needless to say the majestic feel of FF XIII will be gone.

Call this a wild thought, but I expect this game to do better in the states and Europe than FF XIII. Why? It has fuckin' guns and shootin' and bombs and leather coats and sunglasses and Matrix moves and GUNS, again. Most people playin' games over here these days, and our buddies across the pond, seem to just want to shoot. Add in some Matrix and you just made little Bob shoot the first load of his life. Blame the kids I say.

I'm with you though. In January I'm gettin' Bayonetta and Darksiders. In February I'm gettin' Dante's Inferno (more than likely) and WKC. In March I'm pickin' up FF XIII and BF:BC 2. I only plan to trade in Borderlands, Magnacarta 2, and possibly Modern Warfare 2 in that time frame, so yeah, it can wait a while.

It´s also a japanese game not made by Square-Enix.

Theres no way the game will do better than FFXIII in Europe and the states. Like the series or not, you can't deny the sheer name value of the game.

Like I said, call it a -wild- thought. Wild thoughts aside, I do not expect RoF to bomb. Guns and Matrix moves will be its saving grace at the least.

Also, I love the FF series. I just didn't like FF X-2 completely and I thought XII was a piece of shit story wise, so I hated it.

Also, you're invincible in the demo. I'd have game over'd quite a few times, had that not been the case.

The boss probably killed me 3 or 4 times over, actually.

Might be pretty hard. I still doubt I'll pay full price for it, anyway.

About that. I'm not sure as I have only played through the first mode it gives you twice at this point, but if you play Normal mode you're supposedly in for a treat. I know for a fact every time you beat Normal mode the next playthrough has a boost in difficulty. The only thing I'm unsure of is to whether or not you can die. You may have already played through normal though a few times, I have no idea just thinkin' out loud.

I also doubt I'll pay full price for it either, but only because of the time frame of its release. I'm pickin' up my copy of XIII as soon as I open my eyes and drain the lizard and I'm willin' to bet I'll still have either Darksiders or Dante's Inferno still in the wrapper :/ I probably wont buy it until I 1k XIII, but then again there is the chance that XIII wont be worth 1king.

I didn't realize the normal mode changed as you played it, im gonna have to run through it again then. And yeah, I also don't think I'll be getting this full price. I already have 4 games im getting at full (FF13, White knight, bayonetta, GoW3) and 2 others im looking at (Dantes and Darksiders). I'll get this next summer I think.

Also err what does 1king mean? lol

Gettin' all of the achievement points. I normally do not do it, but this up coming line up of releases are so sexy I'm feelin' it.
