I know there was a post about this last clip and what it meant, but it was rather far back and couldn't find it. There has been much debate over this clip, and I think I finally found out it means, actually because of my mom XD.
(In case you didnt kno there is a very critical last scene after the credits in X-men 3)
Now the ending clip show's what appears to be, a man lying in a bed, and then a woman walks into the room and checks a heart rate moniter, and then the man in the bed says in Xaviers voice, "I know who you are."
I downloaded this movie last night and was watching it just now, and my mom came down and asked what I was watching, and I told her. And I mentioned about how we missed the ending clip when we saw the movie in the theater. So I went to You-Tube and searched for it and found it, and my mom asked who that lady was. So I went back to beginning of the movie (about 13 min in), and pointed her out in a video Xavier was showing to his students.
Still being dumb I didnt realize it yet, and then my mom asked who the guy was in the bed in the video, and thats when it hit me. The lady in the video said, "The man you see here was born with no higher level brain functions, his organs and nervous system work, but he has no conciousness to speak of." Xavier then stops the movie and follows up with this, "Now what if we were to transfer the conciousness of one person, lets say a father of four with terminal cancer, into the body of this man, how are we to decide what falls in the range of ethical behavior and what doesnt."
Right then at that second it hit me what happened in that ending clip. In Xavier's last momments he transfered his concious mind into the body of the unconcious body of the man we saw in the video. Hence thats why we see the lady in the Video in that ending clip, and thats why he says I know you.
I honestly think I'm really close on this guess, talk discuss lemme here what you think!
