Very nice again Swish (saw your Maat fight first). Only thing I think you could possibly add to this one is a few screenies of yours and Sabs wedding. I'll never forget that day. Definitely one of the best wedding's I've been to since I've been playing the game.

I believe this vid is about the trials and tribulations in the world of Vanadiel, at least that was my take on it, but I think showing some good things that happen even in the wake of all the fighting, would really be cool.

Extremely good eye on that. Yes, that is the theme of this video. I forgot to mention that earlier. :P

I was thinking of an alternate ending with Sabs and I. Instead of the two of us standing there during the storm, I wanted it to be cloudy, but show the rays of light through the clouds like it does in the Tavnazian Archipeligo. It was going to be symbolism of even though there is all this conflict in the world, there's still hope out there somewhere.

That was amazing, Swishee. The music choice, desolate yet beautiful, the battle choices, a type of triumphant theme to it, the use of scenery and atmosphere. All of it was near perfect, awesome job. I especially like the scene with you and Sabs at the end, with the lightning coming down, and the rays of light shining down on the forest. I'd vote top choice for sure, Swishee ftw!

FFXI sorta reminds me of the first movie Conan, the Barbarian. I don't know why, but it does. Anyway, even though it was all about a Sorcerer (that's what I think of the bad guy as), destroying Conan's family and people, he still fell in love in the movie, and there were some happy scenes. That's why I was thinking about screenies from yours and Sabs wedding.

The vid is very very good as it is though. Of that there is no doubt. Good luck on winning with it. I also, would definitely vote for it if I was a judge, or however they do it.

The music was performed by The Star Onions, which are kind of the FFXI version of The Black Mages, but not rock music. I got their CD from Play-Asia.com. Their site has some clips you can listen to, but it seems to be down at the moment.

Was really really good Swish! I really would have liked to see more of your own personal gameplay instead of CS's but it was still very nicely put together. :)
 
Yeah. I was going to use a mix of both gameplay and cutscenes, but I just couldn't get enough gameplay that would fit with the theme.

Originally, I planned for this to be done with the song Liberi Fatali from FFVIII, kind of a parody on it. Part of it was going to focus on Conflict, and the five races of Vana'diel (hence the Children of the Crystal title). But later on I just scrapped the idea and went with this.

I already have plans for another video. Although this video is probably very far off, since I plan for it to be my tribute to Vana'diel when I quit. Already have the song picked out and everything. :O
