I....
Wrote a song!
I can put it in here since it's FF related >.>
In Music Theory, we got to choose any composer, study them and their music, and compose a song like them. I chose Nobuo Uematsu! (Last year I chose Joe Hisaishi, that was fun)
Click here to listen to my song~
I analyzed Loss of Me, and based my basic chord progression on that (not exactly, but close, lotsa i's and VII's) and chose to use that key signature (dm). But I've been listening to To Zanarkand alot lately, and it influenced how I wrote it...I don't really like how it came out, though, and think I'll write a new one to turn in (it's all due next monday, so I have time--they don't have to be long)
So...what do you think? Does it sound Uematsu-ish? (at least Final Fantasy-ish?)
And it sounds better played by a person >.> I did my best playing with the dynamics on the computer, but yeah.
But d'ya think it sounds good enough to turn in for this type of assignment? Or reeeeedo? (and I'm not a music genius, it's a class built for people that have no music experience, so take that into consideration :3 It's my second year in the class though~)
