ENM60: Pulling the Strings : Anyone tried attacking the goblin?

For those who have done the solo ENM60 at Mine Shaft 2719, will know that the goblin accompanies the puppet that you fight. You only have to defeat the puppet to win, but has anyone tried slaughtering the goblin first? I always wanted to know how strong it is or how evil it can be, but I just can't seem to put down 2000 exp sacrifice, not to mention the gil it takes to get in. :ph34r:

If anyone has tried it, please share your experience!
 
I had a friend who tried to take him out (she did not know how to do the enm in the first place but...) this ended very badly in less than 5 sec. She was a bard and I remember seeing lullaby scroll by my screen then 5 to 6 seconds of frantic hp loss and marco spam. At any rate its good times. I say go for it. If you want to secure yourself a loss.:coco:
 
the goblin is somthing like 20 levels above the manniquin. He'll beat the stuffing out of you.
 
Yea, dont mess with the gob. This ENM is just like the Maat fight with much much more luck involved. Still fun though ;)
 
I won my first time on ninja i dont suggest going after the gob because it can help you as well. It is a lot on luck though focker last 2 times has 2hrd for twice my hp's 1 min into the fight.
 
Ya... first time I did this ENM I completely screwed up. Forgot to change my macro from Blizzaga II to Freeze and wasn't paying attention at all. -.- Next thing I know I'm getting whacked for 250 dmg a hit...

Umm yeah, dont touch the goblin. He's much stronger than the mannequin.
