Personally I think they casted a couple of people wrongly. Garrow looks like an ugly fat guy, not the old wise farmer I envisioned, Eragon could have some improvement, and Wth, they didn't even attempt to make an elf!

P.S. The trailer still looks feking sweet.

Well whether or not the movie is that great. The book was incredible, it was like LoTR without all of the extreme detail and in my opinion it started quicker than LoTR.

Though, I am dissappointed they made Eragon look like a Silly-Nanny

The Book was what got me into reading when I Was in the 9th grade, I read it at least once every year now to keep myself reading. As a result I am very excited about this movie i'm counting down the days until It comes out.

Why does the dragon look gay. Other than that, the trailer looks fekking sweet.

Wow I haven't checked any post in like a week. I can't wait for this movie to come out. I think they casted Brom perfectly, the rest I'm not sure about, but if its a good movie I'll get over it.

All I can say is that Eragon was the 1st book in a very long time that I could not put down. I'm in the middle of Eldest right now. If the movie sucks, so be it... the book is still awsome. If the movie is great, then I will look foward to the movie version of Eldest.

As far as characters go... if you don't like who they chose, who would have you picked? I like John Malkovich as Galbatorix. I also like Garrett Hedlund as Murtagh... exactly how I pictured him.

I think it will be a good movie, I'm definitly looking foward to it.

I'm rather impressed at the way the dragon was handled, with the feathery-type wings. Can't say I've read the book, but I certainly want to pick it up now... o_o

I definately recommend the book
