I'm trying to log in to my toons and I keep getting this error. I have my main and 4 mules but I get the same error on all of them. I search through google and only found one guess as that it is a macro error. I play on 360 so I can't mess with files. Anyone really know what's going on?

Peace,
Shmed

Well, it said it was some problem reading files, so.... I checked the files and nothing, so only 1 thing left to do... >.< Reinstall clean. I guess I know what i'll be doing for a few hours... rewriting macros.

uh.. you could make a copy of the macros first scmed..

>.< I don't know how to do that on the xbox, and I already started the reinstall process. Could you let me know for future reference on how i do that?

*edit* nvm, I had backed them up, but forgot that they would be server side when I did that.

Peace,
Shmed

wait how do you back up macros on 360? you sure that it didnt just repair your install and your macros just stayed on the harddrive? last i checked macros werent saved to the server, ive always had to have different macros on my systems

Ctrl-Shift-B/R at char selection screen backs up to server.

I get a very similar error message sometimes when logging in after maintanence. Usually just waiting 5-10 mins, rebooting fixes it. On rare occasions my ps2 will try to re-download the content it already downloaded as if one or more of the files was corrupted and it starts from scratch. Happens rarely but that's what I do and usually fixes the prob.

Actually, I'm somewhat unsure it backs up to the server. If you back your macro pallet up, and then log in on another computer, it'll say you have none saved.
