Error Code: POL-1040. Help me out!

I try and log onto Play online and it stops while it says. "Connecting to Ethernet." Then it comes up with "Network Connection Error. Error Code: POL-1040. No response from DHCP server."

It did this like acouple of days ago but it seemed to go away. But I had to wait till the next day. Oh Lord How I dont want to do that. Please someone help me.

I Also tried a diffrent online game and it said the same thing. "Cannot connect to DHCP server."

Sounds like it's an ISP problem. You should call them if the problem becomes frequent and see if they can fix it.

that'd be your own network acting up, check your DHCP settings, check networking device settings/port configuration... if you just modified or updated your network make sure your game settings reflect these changes... i take it this is not affecting your home internet at all?
