i keep getting this on my xbox 360 and my roommates ps3. my ps2 works fine though. we have tried resetting everything but i can't get the 360 or ps3 to work with the game. does anyone have any ideas to help us out?

Are you getting this while updating files, or is it just completely locking you out of signing in to POL?

POL-3001 is the No Response From Server one right? If your internet's working (and you say the PS2 works and you're posting here...), then most likely either your router or your actual systems are not configured correctly. Isn't much more advice I can offer without more info.

sorry, 3001 is the server time out one. my ps2 does not time out from the server. the 360 and ps3 do though. internet is running fine. the 360 and the ps3 will log into a character but dc after 5-7 minutes of play.

Do the characters always dc in a specific area (like Whitegate for instance) or can you move around and have it still happen in other zones?

You could call Square Enix Customer Service, and they will tell you to reset your router and see if that works. Then they'll tell you which ports on your router to open up. And that's all the input I have.

This is the same POL code that caused me to quit for 8 months though. I had an issue where a character froze up while zoning in to whitegate and it corrupted my 360 HD. I uninstalled and re-installed and it would never finish downloading the updates. After 3 days of sitting through 3hr+ downloads only to have to start over, I gave up. On a whim I tried again 8 months later and it downloaded the files. So take that for what it's worth.

my roommate is stuck in jeuno trying to get his choco license, my char has been numerous places, always with the same result on the 360 and ps3. i just downloaded a firmware update for my router and am hoping that will work, i may have to call se and find out what ports to open up.

Good luck. If it's not the router, SE will probably have no real solution for you since you can get the game working on your PS2. You could try your ISP though and explain what's going on and see what they think is the issue.
