there is 13 esper in this game , you get 5 of them from the story and the other are optional , but they are alot more harder then the story one here is the list where i found them so far

our 1st guy is

Adramalech
thunder

Esper's Helpers: zombie
Location: Zertinian Caverns(In the Middle)

hes a flying enemy so you cant melee it
he cast thunderga

the zombie can use spells too also zombies , They respawn , alot i had like 6on me XD

he well do thunderja its dmg + stop
hes not an easy guy it but he do take more dmg from ice

beat it at lvl 40

Zalhera
death

Esper's Helpers: undead
Location: Barheim

--- you have to get the key back *quest* so you can enter this area
---

you have 4min to kill this guy he pop with 2 undead helper with him
they also use alot of spells include Reflectga
he can one hit kill one person of your party members
the undead lvl are 40
didnt beat it yet

Zeromus
dark

Esper's Helpers: Dark Lords
Location: Stillshrine of Miriam
*you need to get key item 1st* another quest

this guy is gay ;o
at the start he well seal all your magic .. he just love you cast slowga , bulidga and stuff that hurt you ,he also cast Graviga

also his helper cast dark ,darkra and darkja and hit hard as hell .. i saw like 5 of them out

i didnt beat him yet

i stll looking for the other Espers if you found them

gamefaq's guides suck(I know, I've been using them), they are all from the japanese version still can't find much on alot of the stuff outside the story mode. Guides kinda spoil the fun, only time they are good is when you are about to quit out of frustration, I usually play and beat the game then use the guide for a second play through
