Question about espers..

I heard that a character can only have 2 espers learned..is this true

No, you can have a character with all 13 learned, 2 is the max for each character + one character having 3 if you wanted to have em evenly divided.
Least that's been my understanding

It was like a chain reaction - Excalibur's like, "huh wtf you can only have 2 per person??" without testing it then next thing you read five more posts "yea you can only have 3 per person" and so on.. at least that's where I first heard the rumor. But I actually test shit like that because I wanted just the females in my party to have espers since they're all my main magic users

As said by Quina, there is no cap on the number of espers your character can have. It's better, however, to evenly distribute the espers amongst your characters, having the strongest ones with your main party, and what not.
