Does anyone else just love this game? It's the cutest thing ever and has a killer battle system to boot.

Warning: Second video has major spoilers after 3 minutes.

Sure it's a bit linear in some parts, but the art direction is amazing - and the storyline is kitschy and interesting.I'm currently grinding in the Church of EZI on Encore, using my dream team: Retto, March and Serenade. Silver Star Retto is ridiculous. Serenade is just a beast - you get to play her for a bit early in the game and you think oh this chick just throw butterflies around but oh man.... Fastest character in the game, all her skills are multi-hit, she can hit and chain from anywhere on the field and she has a healing spell! My Serenade hits for max damage and can out-gun everyone without even building Echoes. March is my echo builder; She's fast, hits multiple times, her ultimate weapon has a critical bonus and her Bind spells are pretty cool. Plus she's so adorable!

If you're thinking of picking this game up, I reccomend the PS3 version. It's a bit tougher, you get two bonus dungeons, some additional scenes and two more playable characters.

I haven't played much if it yet, still a game I've been meaning to pick up, especially since not much lately been out to get. But, been saving money. I think I'll check it out so I can finally play this in full instead of sporadically at a friend's and really getting nowhere

Has it come out for the PS3 yet? I haven't kept track. If so I may need to pick it up.

Came out in '08.

Oh... okay. Well that's great, it should be relatively inexpensive if I look around since it's been out for 2 years already. Good to know.

Yeah I got it for like 20 bucks new. I haven't gotten too far in it, but the battle system is fun. Not a huge fan of some of the teeny tiny characters though.

Oh come on, they're cute! And I like the fact that the battle system changes as you progress. Harmony chains make it slightly more tactical than your standard button masher because you have to plan ahead - your position, how many echos you build etc.
