Euro 2008

turkey has 14 players left due to suspensions and injuries. This includes their main striker who brought them the win last time, their goalkeeper, their captain(might play) and a bunch of other key players. Ill be really surprised if they can take on the current germany, which is playing in great form and ballack.

spain also played a rather lackluster game against italy (though the ref did have some questionable calls) hopefully they can pick it up.

Wish I could be home to watch today's game on the bigscreen, instead of a small window stream on my work computer.

Should be an exciting game, go Germany. ^^

God Germany made hard work of that. Very lucky to get through and I really hope they perform better in the final. Lehmann is shite though. Why they never even include Neuer in the squad when he's by far the best German keeper around is beyond me.

Yep have to agree Germany was very lucky to get through. Turkey played really well or did Germany just play very very bad?

Well hopefully Spain can win tomorrow and make it a good final for sunday.

Germany got very lucky. If they play like this against Spain or Russia they will be destroyed.

Khan > "Lame" Man

Oli is retired and too old. Neuer is young, a great goalkeeper and 1000000x better than Enke or Lehmann. Why he doesn't get picked really does make me do a WTF.

Old Khan > Lehmann

Germany should give Rene Adler or Robert Enke a chance. Maybe bring back Timo Hildebrand lol. Those 3 are better than Lehmann IMO.

word, lehmann didnt deliver in 06, should have realized then that there are far better choices.
I fear for how germany will defend against torrez+villa / arshavin

personally id like to see russia best spain and make it to the finals. Russia against netherlands (quarters) was probalby one of the best games so far, while spain italy was one of the worst

I am supporting Spain today, got my Spanish jersey on! Viva Espana!!

Fernando Torres better deliver today. On the other hand Russia is playing pretty football so if they beat Spain I would not be that disappointed.

Teams like Russia and Turkey shows you that you can play excellent football without depending on your stars. Portugal's Ronaldo ((Where?)) lol what an under achiever. The only reason he is considered to be best in the world is because he has teammates in Manchester United such as Teves, Rooney, Vand de Sar, Vidic, etc. This allows him to run around and be free. For him to actually become the best in the world he should have done better in Euro 2008. I mean Nani played better than him.

lol sorry for the Ronaldo rant! :o

Lets hope sundays final will be good, if both teams come out trying to win the game then it should be a classic.

Ill be cheering for Spain, only because its been a long time since they have won anything, and well Germany always seem to win these competitions, and so it will be nice to see someone else win it :)

well it's all over, i didn't watch the whole game in the end but from what i saw it wasn't all that exciting. hope others enjoyed it more :/ Grats to Spain.

I watched the match like 2x 30 minutes each half time (sp). From what I see spain got a lot of goal apportunities, and generally were leading the game. I think it's well deserved on this match, Germany suffered from lack of attacks and a big defensive mistake on the goal.
