Yet again, the concept that a severe shortage of gil probably means you should STOP levelling for a while fails to penetrate.

Not having enough gil for a chocobo = DON'T FUGGIN' ADVERTISE FOR A PARTY. If things are that bad, farming/fishing/camping/whatever for a bare minimum of "survival gil" becomes the top priority for anyone over the mental age of 10.

Either make your own parties and check people before inviting them or party only with friends/people you know.

Can't you kill like some gobbies or beastmen mobs even to have enough gil to afford a chocobo? That or farm small junk while you're seeking and just go npc all that stuff for a little bit.

I was afk when he did, and was only away for like 2 minutes. I came back, sent a /tell of "hell no, who are you?" and got a reply of "fuk u I got what i needed ur 100 gil is safe."

Seriously, and it's been said before. You're ONE ZONE AWAY from goblins who, on average, drop 50+ gil apiece. Go slaughter two of them, and you have made your chump change.

Actually, the comforting part is that of all people, you know that someone with shit for gear and no oils/powders is clearly not a gil-buyer. They are worthless, pieces of shit, but at least they earned that title. ( '-')d

Well RMT do have "shit for gear", do they still fall undering the "worthless, piece of shit" title? or there is different title for RMT?

There is a simple reason these players do not go farm and npc sell something. They want the BIG gil. Nice fast and easy. God my LS tried to help a new player learn the ropes. All the guy wanted was items and gil. Everyday "hey guys i need 20k for my next lv gear" or some crap like that. Dude wanted +1 gear for lv 1. As for people not having IS or gil for chocobos....I heard that no chocobo gil many times before. They never think to just kill a few goblins. Hell using my 4 mules and selling crystals when they were 2k a stack i made over 500k. that little bit of gil adds up. After all 28x2k=56k most times they sold fast so i could make easy 100k+ in a day.

on a side note we found out later that another new player we tried to help that did not want to farm bought gil.....:nono: well when SE did the delete RMT thing....seems they are deleting gilbuyers now too. After having to start all over they figured out farming was better than buying gil.:thumbsup:

step 2: get to Jeuno.
step 3: advertise to unsuspecting people and to those who you know are asses from QCDN (read: alecto, Elaa, Jinxy...Jinxy since we know he's into that kinky cybershit).
step 4: Head to the Archduke's quarters, and leave your inhibitions/dignity at the door.
