anyone know how to do this event yet? i got my dream robe and dont really know how or why. i got a card traded it to a person. got another and traded it to a person. then sombody gave me a card for a 10 ninja so i broke out my 11 nin and gave it to moogle and i got dream robe. any info on the +1?
 
I think you just carry on, all the cards I get now that I have my robe basically tell me to trade it to people in robes. So maybe its the same again but whilst wearing your dream robe?

The best place to go for *new* event info is Allah. There were already 2-3 posts there regarding how to do it last night.

Moogle in the starting nations will give you a card, and tell you to find someone with a "[Job] in the [X]'s". For example "Find a warrior in the 50s and hand the card over kupo!"
It is easiest to find the people via shout, or /sea region job lvl-lvl

Once you find the person, ask them to trade the card to the moogle. They will most likely recieve Sparkling Hands. If not, they will receive "Dream Robe." I got my Robe when trading my fourth card to the moogle- I have read someone got their robe on their first turn in, though. **You get your robe by being the FOURTH person to trade an individual card in, it doesnt matter if it is your first trade, as long as it is the cards fourth***
Robe on Taru, Elvaan, Mithra, Hume

You will get four cards from the moogle, before you start over. Like the summer event, there are no penalties for having to start over.

Notes:
-Save the fireworks!! You can use these for Smilebringer quests!
-You can only get one card per VD day.
-If you are having problems trading, it is because the person already has the card (remember, they are Rare)
-Other confirmed gifts from moogle are chocobo tickets! (Save them for mea >_<!)

The different kinds of cards are:
Pleiades
Capella
Sirius
Rigel
Betelgeuse
Canopus
Aldebaran

Suit Theorys:
First theory from Totz from Bahamut >> Almost 100% proven!
(1)Talk to the moogle get a card.
(2)Trade the card to the job and lvl it ask's for, have that person trade it to the moogle, then have them trade it back to you.(1st trade)
(3)Talk to the moogle to see what next job is.
(4)Trade it to a person with then next job, have them trade to moogle, then trade it back to you.(2nd trade)
(5)Talk to moogle again for next job requirment.
(6)Trade it to person with that job, have them trade to moogle, and then trade it back to you.(3rd trade)
(7)Now when you talk to the moogle for the last time he will tell you that you need to give the card to someone that has a job in a level range that is equal to one of the job's that you have.
(8)Swich to that job, trade the card to the moogle.(4th trade)



Robe +1
Not much is known for sure about this - but after you receieve your first robe, the moogle then tells you the card is for the [insert job] at [level range] who is wearing red.

I have spoken to a few people with the +1 robes, and they said that it is exactly like the first part (For NQ) except you just need to receive it from someone wearing a robe, who has a "red" card.

Although I think I should mention I know a few people who got their robe on their first try (received a card and traded it to the moogle and got it right away), so the whole "trade 4 times" thing might not be quite right.

i traded in 5 cards last night and nothing... i was wondering if changing your job, doing 2 in the same day VD that is, or whatever because its pising me off >.<
 
What is the smilebringer quests? I gave a present to a kid and then the person said I could go to another nation. But do fireworks have to do with it?
 
Can anyone tell me the stats on both the robe and the +1?

I'm at work and can't get to Allah, otherwise I would have provided the info for him. Thanks for being a dick about it though. That's always appreciated.

My apologies, I wasn't aware that a proxy prevented you from posting it. When I read it I thought you were just being too lazy to actually post what you found.
 
I don't understand why people waste their time with such stupid events XD oh well.. to each their own.

No the trade 4 times thing does work, in reality if people got their robe from the 1st card they received, it means that previous card has already seen 3 previous trade ins from others. This is how it worked for nq and hq(trading to and from people wit NQ on), first off I'm on my 25 SMN and talk to my moogle, I get a rigel card and he tells me to give it to a THF in 10 range, I do that, and I get my card back after the thief trades it to moogle for fireworks. Next job/lvl I need to give the card to is Ranger in the 70's, I find 1 and they trade the card in, and I get it back after that, ok so that's card trade in #2. 3rd trade in the Moogle asks me to give the card to a Samurai in the 70's, I do that and he trades it in for fireworks, and gives the card back to me, so that's trade in #3, so I talk to the moogle to find out who to give the card to for the last trade in, and it ends up being a SMN in the 20's, which was the job/lvl range I originally received the card on, I trade it to moogle and it gives my dream robe(or +1, depending if you have NQ and have been trading with people who have the NQ as well). The thing is you don't know how many times the cards have previously been traded, it could be a card someone just got from moogle, it "could" be the 3rd trade, or 4th trade, but it's all random, and people just swapping cards like they have been, and that person keeping that card just makes things more of a pain. SE must think the original card owner will keep track who they trade it to, and that person keeps track of who they trade it to, and so on, since the last trade in will end up being the person who originally got the card in the 1st place from the moogle, but with so many people, and so much spam, it is kind of hard. But that's how I got my robe and +1, and how many others have as well, it was a pain in the ass event that's for sure.
