I know surprisingly little about Peregrine. I know nothing about his background or lineage. I do not know where Peregrine was educated or what he has done besides shackle us with the chains of snobbism. Nevertheless, I can tell you all that you need to know about him. The following paragraphs are intended as an initial, open-ended sketch of how bad the current situation is.
Peregrine may have the right to thrust all of us into scenarios rife with personal animosities and petty resentments. He may have the right to dress up his profit motive in the cloak of selfless altruism. But Peregrine crosses the line when he uses his bully pulpit to call evil good and good evil. He can't attack my ideas, so he attacks me. It could be worse, I suppose. Peregrine could calumniate helpless nudniks.
Inasmuch as I disagree with Peregrine's accusations and find his ad hominem attacks offensive, I am happy to meet Peregrine's speech with more speech and, if necessary, continue this discussion until the truth shines. To quote the prophet Isaiah, "Woe to ye who bring this battle to a fever pitch". The greatest quote I ever heard goes something like this: "Peregrine is living in a dream world." The biggest difference between me and Peregrine is that Peregrine wants to impale us on the pike of antinomianism. I, on the other hand, want to protect the interests of the general public against the greed and unreason of the most pestiferous individuals you'll ever see.
One of Peregrine's votaries once said, "Anyone who dares to study the problem and recommend corrective action can expect to suffer hair loss and tooth decay as a result." I may be questioning the regnant conventional wisdom by stating this, but maybe time cannot change Peregrine's behavior. What is often overlooked, however, is that someone has to be willing to break the mold and stray from the path of conventional wisdom. Even if it's not polite to do so. Instead, I propose a practical, realistic, down-to-earth approach that requires only that I reverse the devolutionary course he has set for us. Peregrine's intimates argue that his vices are the only true virtues. These are the same insensate, villainous oafs who throw away our freedom, our honor, and our future. This is no coincidence; when Peregrine's grumpy utterances are translated into plain, words-mean-things English, he appears to be saying that everything he says is totally and absolutely true. For me, this recalcitrant moonshine serves only to emphasize how Peregrine fervently believes that 75 million years ago, a galactic tyrant named Xenu solved the overpopulation problem of his 76-planet federation by transporting the excess people to Earth, chaining them to volcanoes, and dropping H-bombs on them. This shows that he is not merely mistaken about one little fact among millions of facts but that if Peregrine is victorious in his quest to acquire public acceptance of his lawless asseverations, then his crown will be the funeral wreath of humanity.

What may be news, however, is that I know how most of you feel. It follows from this that Peregrine can't possibly believe that separatism is the only alternative to incendiarism.
