Disagree. IMO Kraken is a luxery item and it should be. You never really need a Kraken club but it's hella fun and it's something to get when most other things are done.

Thief Knife somehow is similar but you can solo this which is good. You know a person with a Thief Knife then you know he is very dedicated to his job and have spent lots of time for it (Unless he buy gil which you should know if he does).

Im mad because

1. They take away a good amount of income from the THFs and NM campers. (Well, just the THFs, god knows you pos mage campers never got a drop)

2. They give to you to take and you don't, you waste oppurtunities and the successful campers are fucked over now.

Not really null. As I semi-eluded to in my previous post, I wouldn't sacrifice my characters ability to level up for a "required" 5M or more item that isn't entirely necessary. I'd much rather work harder on gaining levels on my character in the time that I can afford to spend on the game than spending hours after hours farming or crafting to try to earn money for an item thats only value is 'Wow, they have that. Nice.'

Once I quit the game permanently, those hours of annoying farming for one little piece of equipment aren't going to leave me anywheres. At least I get something out of having a character thats higher leveled (such as attending new events and quests and being able to walk sneak/invis free through areas). I'd much rather have experienced more of the game when I quit, then have the here and now satisfaction that someone 'looks up to me' because I have a certain item.

There's a THF on quetzy that rarely, if ever, camped NMs who got a THFs knife on the first drop. He's a cool cat don't get me wrong. But having a THF knife doesn't really mean dedication, just lots of luck at that moment.

I noticed in your sig it shows you wearing leaping boots, so I would imagine you have some nice items. That dex and agi is real nice for your SATA and WS isn't it?

I feel the same about every item I own. It was worth it and fun obtaining the item.

Especially considering for thf, all that matters is you hit the SC and let the mages burst. If I never got a chain because I couldn't gain TP fast enough in parties, I'd consider this. But I get chain 5's. I gained 36k xp in one day. A PCC to me is a waste of time. I do fine as is. I'd much rather have an evasion torque or something that I could use to go soloing on my own in that slot.

It's a nice vanity, but I wouldn't come close to saying its a requirement.

didn't actually know i knew you in game. no one said this was a requirement, no one said everyone should strive for it. what people said was that this item should only be attainable by those who DO work for it.

there isn't an elitist alive that would demand everyone in thier pt have a PCC. it is a luxury item not meant for everyone.
