How can you criticize something you haven't watched? This could be totally different information than you've heard about. You instant dismiss everything because you do live in denial.
I doubt it, since I pull my information from impartial sources, not idiots pushing agendas. Whatever information is provided in a production of this sort is flawed, spun, and mangled to fit. It's the same thing Michael Moore does, pick an argument and hammer the truth until it's malleable enough to fit your mold.
Let's see though.
First 5 minutes, pretentious film school crap. Oppressive score, LOOK AT THIS, IT'S IMPORTANT!
Next, someone is ignorant enough to think that the secular powers and religious powers are somehow in league, rather than their historical policy of being at odds with one another. Then prattles on about truth, while obviously not knowing much about it.
Now someone gives you partial sets of information about various religious figures throughtout history as if it's some sort of revelation, fudges a fair amount of information, hammers what remains until it fits, and then draws comparisons between things when it's a well known fact that religions in general and Christianity in particular borrowed a great deal of what they use from previous religions. Again, no new information, just spin.
Next, more tired old 9/11 conspiracy shite. I'm honestly not even gonna bother going into detail on this. It's not worthy of the effort.
Why they felt the need to throw Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories in is beyond me.
Then it moves to banking, and amusingly contradicts itself on a couple occasions, while demonstrating a complete lack of comprehension of economics.
Then we shift to causes of war, hoaxes causing war, mistakes causing war, and war implied as a tool of our putatitve economic overlords. Our overlords are moving towards a world government in order enslave us, our overlords are working in secret to control every facet of our lives, etc etc.
Blah blah blah
I stand by my orignal assessment. No new information. No genuine truth. Just slick packaging, thinly veiled agendas, and about as much actual understanding as you'd get taking a course at your local community college, assuming the instructor is a strung-out hippy that's been living in denial for the last 40 years.
Let this be a lesson to you: While it is truly said that just because something is on television, that doesn't make it true,
the reverse argument also holds. Just because it's not mainstream doesn't mean it's true. It just means it's not
popular.
