Hay guyz

So just curious on everyone's record on this chest. I'm like 0/12-14 on Excalibur, got a second Sage's Ring which is nice. I'm way too low a level for the area so its alot of fleeing. Im like lvl 50 and the mobs there are probably at least level 62-65, but the hardest was just getting past all the bombs...

Anyways just curious.

Anyways, where is this chest located for Excalibur/Sages Ring?

The higher level area of Crystal Grande. The hardest part is opening the gate in front of the way stone you need to get to. You'll know you are headed in the right direction once start running into Shadownirs. The Excalibur chest is the second chest in the last shadownir platform, second in that you will open the first but the chest remains so you open it again and its the sword. Also, it is on a trap. I was able to get it at lvl 50 just by making mad dashes. If you don't get the sword go back past all the Shadownirs and try again.

I've opened this chest like 25 times and so far nothing. I got pissed and havent played the game in weeks. Fuck it.

Are you sure you haven't opened the second chest? You open the first chest which is usually junk, but sometimes the chest stays there, that is Excalibur.

Whats the excalibur? a sword like in all games?

I think its a greatsword...not completely sure

Greatsword, if i remember correctly +128 attk...only issue with it is it has a Light element attached which is nice for something but renders it useless for others. I got it pre Pharos, good for first boss and mobs inside, not for much else though.

After about 20 tries i got pissed, took off the diamond armlet and got a sage ring. Is that the right one?

Yeah, that is the right chest (the first chest that is). You will open it up, but the chest will remain to open it again time to time, Excalibur will be in there. Don't need to have Diamond Armlet either really.

I didn't really count... I just know it took me a lot of tries, and I got it just before I was about to give up. <.< It is a nice sword, though the light element is annoying in some cases.

Psh took me about 5 times to open the chest and get the sword.
