I'm more concerned with what is going to happen with events like Dynamis/Limbus/etc that are in non-instanced zones.
As evidenced by the myriad of threads on the forums, these non-instanced events are getting very overcrowded post-merge (on this server at least), and I have to believe that this problem is common across other servers as well. If SE doesn't do something like instance these events, or level-restrict them to 75, or alter the game in same way to greatly lower the desire to do these events, the overcrowding problem is going to get exponentially worse when groups of fewer and fewer people are capable of doing them.
You think the Dynamis scheduling system is in jeopardy now... SE could completely destroy it with these level cap increases if they don't take this stuff into consideration.
It would definitely be nice to have Dynamis instanced, but I don't see Squeenix investing in the infrastructure necessary to handle the extra instances. It's probably going to be pretty hectic once the level cap gets raised to 90/99. I guess it really depends how antiquated Dynamis ends up being after all is said and done with all of the 76+ content, Magian quests and the new relic/mythic-style weapon system, and how the server population ends up once FF14 is released. I think that last one may be the largest factor.
Personally, I hope they don't level-restrict much to 75; I find it pretty tiresome to try to optimize my sets for capped events, or buy gear for it and sell it again afterward. If I don't, I feel like a gimp. I'd much rather be able to clear those events with smaller groups, or solo.
