Got someone else in mind who you think deserves some praise for doing their job well?

Examples: Never afking w/o warning, never leaving w/o warning, knowing how to play their role effectively, etc.

Post their name & job here in the format shown below! Do not try putting more then one person together & do not try recognizing them for multiple jobs in the same sentence/paragraph. I'm not going to take the time to read everyone's post & try & filter out the desired info so use the format below! Don't post someone because they've helped you outside of parties in obtaining a item, PLed you, or helped you with a mission that was all too easy for them to help with. This is to give props to those who deserve it for knowing how to play their job well in tough situations or exp/merrit parties.

Due to some glitches in the forum, extra spaces may appear between job categories, etc. I try my best to keep errors to a minimum however I can manage it.

  • Shaidalyn: This bard saved our PT. As a Sam, I lfp for a long time, so finding a pt is exciting.. no WHM around so we get a JP RDM who isnt too great. This bard never missed a song, cured wonderfully, no hesitation, MB'd! She MB'd her songs! I have never experienced such a good Bard. I was impressed and though I add a few, this lady was amazing. I can only hope to pt with her again!​

  • Shaidalyn: Never missed an MB, gladly helped debuff with BLM magic when mine was resisted (she was a level higher) and wonderful attitude. That's just in PT, everyone knows the out of PT awesomeness.​

  • Ronith: Considering he's with Princess all the time, he's gotta be good :P, really though, he's a great RDM always keeps peeps refreshed and knows when do do his stuff, rather than have to be asked or told etc. Very skilled in what he does and looking forward to the next PT with them both ^^:ph34r:​

yeah but this thread looks cooler...and its seems to be alittle better setup, if they keep up with making this list

i would think necroing that wouldnt be as bad, and a case could be made that it should have been stickied

Maybe I should make the page elsewhere & just link to it, not being able to use HTML tables stinks. I'd add some people myself, if only I partied with enough of the same people time & time again.

Ya I really don't see a list there anyway. Plus the topic is all wrong, it's about Player's names.... I could care less if someone's name is Leftnut or Rightnut (I have seen these taru in game though....)

My buddy caelan is the bee's knees on pld too (lot of pld making the list)
Oh snap another pld, Googe.
Jebus, badger as well, pld yet again.
Reasons for all the above are good hate control, all understood how to have just enough hate to keep the mob on them and allow it to be turned for SATA.

(ok new rule, no more pld.)

If duoing counts as partying then I can add Grifftron to that list as well.
Knows what he's doing and always good for a laugh.


Now my new problem is trying to remember the names of people I thought were excellent but pt'd with aaaaaages ago.

That thf that we pt'd with Iso, in that pt that rocked in bibiki, was her name Magrathea, or was that another thf? >.<

Seems I only remember tanks. I'll have a think about it and repost again.

There isn't really any point in mbing songs...You need threnody before the burst, requim's power doesn't change when mb, and elegy needs an earth sc which is rare and I believe its power doesn't change either. The only thing mbing helps with is resist rate, but the brd should already have those songs on before you reach the time for sc. It has a 'neat' factor, but doesn't do much. Just FYI before you ask your next brd to mb songs.
 
it was neat is all ;x She paid attention, she was always ontop of songs, cures, and -na's while our rdm just....... I dunno what he did. -.- She basically main healed and did Brd duty perfectly.
