The short story is that I can't install ToAU for some reason.

The long story is I had put in the CD thinking you didn't need CoP to install it. When I found out you need CoP to install it, I had already registered ToAU thinking it was installed. Now that I have installed and registered CoP I would go to play the game and a window would appear saying: "Expansion Pack has not yet been installed." So I would log out and place the CD in the drive. The installation window will not open. I wait for acouple minutes, then I look at my drive and nothing is happening. Do I have to unregister ToAU to install it? If so, how do I go about unregistering it?

Yes I have already contacted SE but they have not yet responded.

Have you tried running the Setup.exe file or whatever .exe file is in the root directory of the CD, in either "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer"?
 
I beleave I had somewhat the same problem when I tryed installing FFXI totaly again. I uninstaled main game and reinstalled. But I had to uninstall the expantion and reinstall after.

You sould not need to unregister I'm pritty shur.

See if you can uninstall TaoU, and istall it after you have CoP. all the advice I can give.
 
ToAU isn't installed at all. I registered it thinking it had been installed without the window opening.
 
A guy in my LS has Zilart and ToAU, but not CoP.

Do you have a D drive? It wont install if you put it in the regular C drive.

The discs before TAU are Cd-rom while TAU is dvd-rom.

I had myself registered but TAU wouldn't install because I did not have a D drive to install the program with have someone send the whole file to you(it takes awhile to send....)
 
I had the same message awhile ago. I went to play on a friend's computer who has everything, but ToA installed and my account has access to all areas including ToA. The game is just telling you you have ToA registered, but you cannot access it because it's not installed on that computer. If you can get ToA installed, the message will go away.

i helped you? most of been pissed that night.

But if i did it for him guess can help kinda know programming stuff but like the haxz side more :D

Because you can tell the differance 'tween DVD and CD? :shok:

yes -_- lol CD/DVD look the same normal MDV and CD dont :3
 
CD and DVD are clearly, to the naked eye, different looking. Kire doesnt know what hes talking about.

DVD and CD can look the same.

MCD & MDVD etc easy noticeable as they are *gasp* mini size.... :D


Btw the one on the right is DVDR the left is CDRW

Lol yeah only use boxes to old CDs etc in most things i burn and put onto my own CDS etc as 1) Larger 2) you all ways should have a back up
most my PC games disks are white with name on in pen not DVD etc on side on a rail lol
 
I was able to get in contact with a SE technical supprt staff. They were able to walk me through the process.

For some odd reason my pop-up blocker was blocking the window opener >.>
Its installing right now ^.^
