So today I was leveling my RNG in the good ole KRT for the majority of the afternoon. For the first 2 hours or so the party was rockin, but eventually members had to leave and it turned into the dreaded pseudo party that could ultimately fail at any time. Luckily a friend of mine wanted to level his WHM and his NIN friend decided to come with him.
We party for a while when suddenly another member has to go RIGHT THEN. I knew it wasn't because of the xp as we were pulling in 200+ on the chains. W/e I thought, n00bs will be n00bs. We get another replacement and decide to go back in and start fighting again.
After a while another party comes. "Oh great" I thought, knowing that there was another party here besides us. But wait! A search of the area revealed that they had left. I keep pulling and on my way back I notice that they are fighting worms. Odd I thought as no one xps off of those. After the fight I go out to pull again and the party is still sitting there not more than 10 feet from us killing bats out of our pool. I was like wtf... There are two other legit camps here.
After another pull I get pissed. Now this party is here killing bats out of our mob pool when there are 2 other legit camps where they can go.
I /say:
1. Either you guys are a bunch of inconsiderate assholes or
2. Your leader does not know this zone and should not have brought you here.
By this time my friend is suggesting going to the beetle camp. W/e I thought, let me at least finish the chain. I go to target a Dire Bat but target the Scorpion instead. I didn't notice this until it was too late as I was busy reading chat log on what people wanted to do. I try to cancel my pull but Rapid Shot strikes again and I cannot avoid the pull. Great, a NIN tank should not tank these. Foreseeing the potential death I tell everyone to sneak or zone. I KNOW the other party that was right by us saw the scorpion because you cannot miss a giant freaking scorpion passing over your camp.
I zone, we sneak up and get ready to go to the next camp. The scorpion was too far from their party to directly aggro them. But instead of sneaking up and waiting for it to pass... They pull another Dire Bat. Smooth move guy. Yes, I am sorry that we had to zone but that was one reason we camped there. Bad situations can easily be avoided. And best part, when you zone there you don’t lose TP or chain points!
So then I get /tells from Exsoldier saying that my MPK attempt had failed. I'm like wtf dude. No one tried to MPK you. He proceeds to cuss me out and such. I lost it and got into a bitching contest with the asshole and then decided to just drop it and move on.
I zone back in and see that one of our members had caught aggro. I believe it was the RDM but by this time I was so pissed off at Exsoldier for calling MPK and threatening to call a GM on me. I am also talking to members of his PT at this time and none of them thought I had tried to MPK them. I explained all of this and what had happened and he still was being an ass to me. Grow up.
Now for the kicker. I am sitting there at the entrance with sneak on when a bat pops on them. Ok, w/e they will zone. Oh wait! Their BRD (I think) tries to sleep it and claims it. I sit there and watch, after I had already /shout that there was a pop and they should zone, as their member dies. The bat somehow comes unclaimed and I did a ranged attack on it, claim it, but could not shed hate somehow. I had missed and someone else had to much hate. I then Eagle Eye Shot, pull the bat in deeper, shadow bind it and recast my shadows. By this time I am talking to the leader to zone or we will all die. Everyone in their party sees what I did and thanked me. I don't want to be thanked because you guys were stupid enough not to just zone when it was 3 feet away. I then talk to Exsoldier later and he blames ME for the bat pop killing his pt member. He claims that I stood by laughing and did nothing and that it was never claimed to begin with. He was a complete ass to me and alienated himself from his own party. I knew members of his party through friends and what-not. The funniest part to mew as that this asshole was pissing everyone off and ultimately made his party completely disband.
Exsoldier, when you stop being a n00b then perhaps people will start to like you. Do not turn unto a troll like so many other 'asshats' on this server. Enjoy your time on FFXI and stop pissing so many other people off. You might turn into a Colbwa or Seppepku someday.
