Got it from Dreams in Vana'diel. I've skimmed it so far, but it looks extensive.
One thing I read in detail is how, out of many other debuffs, Dispel seems to be the only one who's hate doesn't decay.

Interesting find. I love reading stuff like this.

Nice find, I've recently noticed dispel can generate a lot of hate, even with enmity- in use, spamming dispel is indeed hazardous to your HP.

hence the pld/rdm deal, known from long.

Fucking awesome.

With that Dispel test it explains how I was able to kite Genbu so efficently while Seiryu was still up on our last Kirin. I casted 3 Dispels on it in succession (and then ran out of MP + I forgot my Gaudy Harness) and it stuck to me like glue despite the fact 2-3 crabs and a Diablos was trying to hurt him. I resorted to Dispel because I knew it generates a bit of hate, but also I was initally going to Charm kite it, but someone called for help early.

When Seiryu died and Genbu was being zerged by pets, when it was at about 50% it came and casted Poisonga on me (and as a result of where I was resting, everyone got poisoned). I still had some hate until the SMNs were able to pull out Diablos again and hit it with Nether Blast to pull hate.

Dispel is a one time debuff anyways, It's not like slow or paralyze that stay on the monster, what you see is what you get with Dispel.

My einherjar ls leader goes PLD/RDM and has fucking hate against 15 blms spamming nukes haha.

All I can think about is all the effort put into that which could have been used elsewhere.

i was thinking the same thing. are people so bored that they have to test every minute detail of the game? they're turning it into a science project.

What's wrong with that though? Especially if they enjoy it, which is likely, it's at worst uninteresting and at best helpful to everyone else, so I say good job.

Thanks for linking to it. What a great read.

I've always wanted to see emnity & emnity decay put in tangible numbers. I hope to see it developed and expanded soon.

I'm surprised he was under the impression there is no hate cap. I've seen it many times on Kirin and even Hakutaku. It's funny when 3 SATA's and a provoke hold hate for a mere couple seconds.
