A BLM deals 2.1k damage to kirin w/ Tornado II.

Kirin, who in my experience, runs faster than normal running speed chases after a taru BLM(who is running screaming). I know bind doesn't work on kirin, however grav does. But even w/ grav, it wears within a few seconds. 9 times out of 10 i guarantee if a blm takes hate, he will be ass up anyways within the minute. So in all honesty the chance of said automaton or said blm will be dead either way.

And if you seriously argue over that 1/10 blm that gets away.... you'll need a new argument.

Kirin likes to cast a lot, and you'll lose a massive amount of hate even if you get hit once or twice. I'm sure it's survivable pretty easily, unless you never buff yourself or something.

Blm CAN wear herald's, last I checked Pup had no such option. Once again, this is not to say every single blm will have one, only that the Blm has the capability of using one. But if either's pulling too much hate you're probably doing it wrong, and if it's severe it's all over anyway.

I've kited Kirin many times on BLM. He is so easy. With gaiters he has never caught up to me. BLMs usually cast from far, you try to cast from the max distance as possible, only morons cast right on top of the mob. You get a nice head start for kiting and even without gaiters I don't think it is that hard. He does stop to cast shit quite often. By the time he ever got any hits on you and broke through your stoneskin and blink, the thanks should have it off you

Your gear does have impact, but a haubergeon +1, to a lesser extent an NQ hauby, has better stats for samurai and ninja because they give strength and acc rather than acc and evasion. The same can be said for shura togi is better for monk than the body right? You know a SAM can still get a 6 hit build with out that usukane right? You know that b haidate gives more dex and haste than usukane legs right? You know that Usukane hands are about as useful as D hands right? You know Rutter Sabatons may be more useful than the attack bonus on Usukane Sune-Ate for SAM as the SAM would get better returns out of STR for WS rather than attack right?

Mnk in full usukane hits 25% haste with a blackbelt, meaning they dont have to use haste only gear like walahra turban and fumas, instead they can get more usefull stats in there. Also legs has 5 str 5 dex and 10 atk, while still putting the mnk, as mentioned at capped haste for gear. Not to mention that with that much more acc for mnk, he could probably get away with meat everywhere.

And stop contadicting yourself. In one sentance hauby is better then usukane body cause you get attack and less dex and str, and the other rutter is better then usukane for exactly the opposite reason. Seriously, atleast try to fan out your contradictions a bit.

And go ahead and totally ignore hq abjurations and relics, thats cool to, no worries.

Noone said you cant be good without the best equipment. But last i checked, good isnt top-tier. In fact, nowadays, good is pretty average.
