I never ever said that pup can solo learn2read, also being able to solo a pudding has nothing to do with doing great damage. RDM, and probably SCH can solo them ..

That's just it...PUP can't really do great damage. Your automaton managed to throw a decent fire nuke on firesday and do some damage, and now you strut around as though nothing compares to the damage PUP can deal. Just answer me one question; if PUPs are so amazingly good at dealing damage, why is it that they aren't the ones being invited to merit parties and various other events?

In all seriousness, PUP can't solo things as easy, we have our downsides and our upsides. We're not better then the next job or vice versa. in that same respect SCH lacks alot of abilities tht would say its better then rdm or blm or whm. Yes it's gained new spells, Tier IV, Dispel, -na spells, etc. but it doesn't have the same merit categories (atm is none) and when it does gain those merits, i doubt it will recieve what rdm has or blm has or whm... it will have its own categories... probably towards improving its main focuses which is ehancing the enviornment aroud itself and others... but this is all heresay and will have to wait for atleast the next major update.

... They haven't stolen anything.. DNC's Mazurka is self-only. The party buff version is still exclusive to BRD. Dispel was never RDM exclusive. BRD had it to. A RDM won't suddenly get less party invites just because SCH now have Dispel too. Other then a few exceptions, you don't invite a RDM because they have Dispel. Additionally, a SCH won't be invited as a main healer over a WHM. If there is no WHM, then perhaps the SCH can get an invite. As for BLM, SCH still don't get close to BLM, neither damage nor accuracy wise.

In no way does it hurt the other jobs to give SCH higher tiered White Magic and Black Magic spells. SCH was always meant to be masters in both schools, but not better than the experts in either. RDM's was never meant to be masters in either, they were meant to be a support job that help the others out by weakening the enemy and buffing the allies. Pretty much the exact opposite of bard, that put greater focus on buffing party members than weakening the opponent.

Not saying it hurts the jobs because we all know that there are other thing in which make the old job better, but it the fact that instead of thinking something new for the job they just throw on some of the other jobs abilities then have restrictions onto them. Yes brd has dispel but it no where near as potent as rdm dispel. Also why would a rdm want tier IV nukes we don't have the mana pool or elemental magic to support them.

NIN's big thing is dual wield and Utsusemi. Everyone else uses them so what?

Not like they lowered the modifiers for dancing edge for DNC. The example given above would be like sneak attack and treasure hunter. To be a example like mine they would need give a job blade: jin or maybe a good ninjutsu skill and slow and blind spells.

Personaly like see a convert stats ability/spell that will change you melee stats to mage and mage to melee stats. Or something new not something that make us blm wannabes.

To simplify, as I'm sure that sentence is too advanced for some people, damage has nothing to do with being able to solo. Its the access to certain tools that PUP don't have access to.

To start, I want to know what you mean by 'constantly' bringing it up, because I have actually only mentioned it once in passing. Maybe exaggerating things satisfies what every strange megalomaniac god complex you have, but that's for a different conversation.

But since you asked, the reason I did bring it up was because Pchan seems to have it in her head that her PUP is a more effective job than BLM; not just the fact that it does alot of damage. Which, in some respects could be argued as PUP has some capabilities that BLM doesn't have. But when it comes to damage, BLM out damages PUP. Warriors, monks, samurais out damage PUPs. It seems that Pchan is one of the short-minded people who thinks that a small burst of damage to a job that can provide steadily high damage over time.

SMN has the ability to summon pets and do great spike damage... what the fuck do you want? theyre both pet job and both are played very differently. I dont tsee BLM crying that Auto's get ASB-INT, I see them laughing and teasing the auto for needing such a spell. Fixed that a bit, but lets take a crack at that arguement about rdm nukes and tier IV; rdm's damage is really limited by

in descending order Spells available > Traits/stats > Gear

gear can be stacked to compensate for stats and traits somewhat but not excel against jobs with the higher versions ie Blm and now Sch, spells cannot be added and if they were they would be somewhat less damaging because of traits/stats.
