ever heard of upper jeuno? (neo-bat. downs) thats where people accually sell stuff. If you checking someone in merit or running around in sky, or sitting at a staging point whatever.... your the moron for thinking some kind of deal is there.

ok heres where it really is i have PS (as in playstation 1) and just feel like selling it for $1,000 now its now worth that much and no one will buy it not really but is my right to sell it for what ever i want and is just right not to buy it but what is not your right is to tell me i cant put for sale for what ever amount i want. people bazzaring stuff for 99,999,999 is their right to do so even if its a flower lol.

PS. stop bitching like a lil girl about it.

And yeah it used to bother me that people would put useless shit in their bazaar, but after seeing it so much, you start to tune it out stop caring.
 
Also, some people bazaar things so they don't accidentally throw them away.
 
I bazaar'd a Raise scroll for 99,999 gil a long time ago so I wouldn't accidentally toss it before I leveled to use it. I leveled up, but the scroll was gone... at least I was (almost) 100k richer.
 
there is never a reason to bazaar something for all 9s. its a waste of time and anyone who does it is pretty stupid for doing so. i dont care what the item is, but if youre retarded enough to throw out something of value without paying attention (lag is not an excuse) then you are an idiot.

That's a little harsh. Sometimes people bazaar sky pops just so at a glance you can see who's got what.

Even then, sometimes there IS a reason to bazaar something for unbuyable prices. If you've got something of sentimental worth and are proud of it and want to show it off, there's no other way to do it just shy of shouting an autotranslated item in Whitegate, and no one wants to see that.

YOU are checking SOMEONE ELSE. You can't complain its not to your liking. Don't like it, don't check.

I think it's safe to assume that when you check someones bazaar, you're expecting items for same. After all, that's what it's for. If it was meant to be a trophy case, maybe they should've called it a trophy case. You might not be looking for anything specific, but interested in what's being sold on the off chance you may need it. Things like Food and Meds, Oils and Powders. Things people make a lot of that they might not necessarily be able to put all up for auction. Especially outside of cities, where if you're running low on supplies, someone might have what you need up for sale, saving your party from either taking a break or just ending out right.
 
What about 3 years ago when stuff actually sold for 9s and more?
 
Interesting thoughts on that. Meds? Food? I get everything I need from the Auction House when I need it, since people's bazaars tend to have 1) prices over the AH listing or 2) one or two pieces of food for a slightly reduced rate.

I would rather see a piece of love chocolate or a signed armor for straight nines instead of fire crystals, zinc ore, bee hive chips copper ore trash item trash item trash item.

The only time I've ever realistically looked at the bazaars in Jeuno or Whitegate is when I'm bored and waiting for a party. If I need an item, I go to a proper source for it, either camping a mob, buying it from the AH or posting about it here on QCDN.
