Fallout 3

I picked it up today, loving it so far.

I'm a little bit after escaping vault 101. When I came across the overseer before I escaped, he said things about how my dad is a traitor and how I would be the same if I left. Then he said how he'll send more guards after me if I dont surrender, so I took my baseball bat and beat him to death with it, in front of his daughter Amata. She was like "Omg, I cant believe you killed my dad! Get away from me!" and i'm like "bitch please he was gonna kill you too, stop trippin." Then I sent her a smiley face, cause bitches love smiley faces.

Wow, 10 minutes into the game I figured out that a BB gun can't kill a giant, flame breathing ant.

Make sure you leave at least one auto-save on if you forget to save often. >.>
 
This game is going to be epic... Great job of blending character customization into the game. If only there were more then 24 hours in a day i could enjoy myself during weekdays;;
 
I got out of the vault and started wandering around Megaton. It'll probably be awhile before I fully commit to the game -- I'm still playing Saint's Row 2 and working on Dead Space achievements -- but it's definitely going to be a game that keeps me busy for a long time.
 
me too, I just got out of the vault. I started to screw around a little and I tried to kill the sherif, I eventually did(he drops a AK47), but the whole town is on your ass after that lol...

I got his AK a different way. He ended up dead because someone else killed him.

GOD what a game.. and I've only scratched the surface! In the School right now in Megatron. The humor is fanfuckingtastic!

I actually chose good answer because I am going for the good Karma route this play through.

The job I got at the end was Chaplain. What was everyone else job?

I got Fry cook as my first job, and i thought it was hilarious because your dad said that he didn't want his only son doing a stupid job. Then the teacher said that the test was a joke and he could change it to whatever. This game is so awesome. I had school and work off yesterday so i just played all day. I'm going for the good karma path right now and i just got done with Rivet City and i'm on my way to Vault 112.


The leveling system is really good, but i wish you could more S.P.E.C.I.A.L points at, at least, incremental levels. You have to waste a perk to get more points, and i'm at the point where i can't really waste a perk like that.

I am going through as evil and saving before each level for karma achievements then you can just donate to the church gain karma to get the achievements.

I dunno Fire. Fallout is great so far but the Mass Effect comment is all opinion from you. I think Mass Effect was fun. The game was a brand new product. Fallout 3 is the continuation (tho not direct) of a lengendary game franchise... To compare them is not fair but my opinion anyways...

I think the combat in Mass Effect was better. The VATS in Fallout is cool but in no way is it something great... The enemy does not even react when hit with objects be it bat or bullet...

I think the conversing and communication was better in Mass Effect. Fallouts communication is not bad in any way and the humor is great... I just feel ME's response menu was genius.

Fall out seems like a better overall experience but i am only 5 or 6 hours in..
 
I'm loving this game so far. Can't believe how huge the city is once you step out of the Vault. I just couldn't help but go o_o at it all.

I'm only a few hours into it so I've not really done too much just yet, but it's pretty awesome thusfar.

They most certainly do. I can't tell you the number of times i've staggered super mutants with the Hunting Rifle.
 
Anyone got the PS3 version for this?
