Fallout 3

a current companion WILL go away once another is recieved. this is for all companions EXCEPT for dogmeat. you can have the dog and another actual companion. dogmeat will not leave if another is aquired

Thats not what I was saying. What i meant is you won't have to pay again or lose the old companion forever for anything. You can swap between them whenever you wish.

where is dogmeat at anyway? i have yet to find him

i just ran into the ghoul companion. problem is, hes pretty much a slave to another ghoul. he doesnt do anything unless told by him. he wont take a bribe of either 1000 nor 2000 caps. he insists on killing a person across the hall. i dont really think that is a wise thing for my karma though. that whole ghoul residency will be on top of me if i do it

Just saw this post. I was able to kill that lady with Sandman perk, you just have to make sure you're hidden when you do it. Though if you're worried about your karma, thats a different story.

PS. SOmeone who found the way to pinkerton without picking the lock guide me plz ;(

To the left of the door that requires 100 lockipicking skill, jump into the water. Follow the wall of the ship (Should be on your right since you jumped into the water.) Youll reach the part of the ship that is torn into two. Right there, to your right, theres a little passage underwater that leads into the section of the ship you need to get to.

I didn't get too into oblivion. I beat it and a few of the factions but I just didn't enjoy many of the things you could do or the exploring. I also didn't like it enough to play the expansion. I've been busy exploring every little piece of F3 and can't wait for the add-ons and expansions.

Wow really, you enjoy the exploring in Fallout3 but NOT in Oblivion?

To each his own, but it's pretty much identical no? As far as exploration goes.

To be fair, Fallout 3 actually has some diversity of terrain. You aren't walking through the same copypasted fields for the whole thing.

lol funny you should say that bc that's how I feel about the zones in FFXI ; ;.

Fuck all my homework and no money. After school I'm going to go put this on my credit card.

And every area is completely unique and has a story to tell. Oblivion has many of the same dull dungeons and temples.

Yes.. now that I think of it you're right.

Well I can't speak in comparison really as I haven't got to explore quite as much in Fallout3 yet. I also haven't played Oblivion in a couple months..

More importantly I miss Morrowind !

No doubt. Morrowind was an amazing game. Though, Daggerfall was even better. I hope ESV won't be as dumbed down as Oblivion.

I was talking about Daggerfall with Genkaku the other night, unfortunately when I had finally learned of it and got the chance to play it we were well on our way to the release od PS2.. the graphics (although that's not all I go for), I just couldn't get around.

I think the word is Epic..

mess up

The graphics in Daggerfall are actually pretty nice. They have full size cities and towns. The game world was literally the size of Great Britain.

Not saying they were bad, just that by the time I got a chance to play it... I had been spoiled with much better graphics :( That is all

It's one of the reasons I never paid much attention to graphics.
One of the reasons that I am one of the few that still finds Strife a forgotten masterpiece that still blows a lot of today's games out of the water.

Anyway, staying on-topic.
I got Fallout 3 myself a few days ago, I have avoided reading most of the posts her ein fear of getting spoiled too much before having completed the game myself.
