Goddam all you chocopimps selling your worthless chococards for way too much because it's colored.
It's been proven. Color is not inherited, just stats and abilities. The stats a bird has before entering adolescent stage are what influences the color.
(The reason this idea came about is the fact that a colored bird, take red for example, passes on the stats that made it red, to the chick. thus there's a good chance it'll be the same color)
You try and sell cards for 20-30K, when all they have is color. 0 stats. 0 abilities. They're no different than the cards you buy from the NPC in Ru'lude Gardens, which only cost 1K...
Here's the lowdown. here's what makes cards worth ANYTHING.
M card base value 5K, F=10K (Fs are rarer)
Any level 8-9 stats = 5K each. Anything lower won't even be inherited.
Level 4+ receptivity = 3K (increases chances of abilities being inherited)
Lv 1 abilities = +5K each (Gallop and Canter)
lv 2 abilities= +7K each (Burrow and Auto-Regen)
lv 3 abilities =+10 each (Bore and Treasure Finder)
That's it. Color is worth crap. You red male with 0 stats and abilities is worth a whopping FIVE THOUSAND GIL. Not TWENTY five thousand. FIVE thousand.
Stop Gypping people becuase your card is colored.
And to Kowawa, STOP RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. WE KNOW YOUR CARDS ARE ALL YELLOW, AND THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS AN ABILITY IS TREASURE FINDER, NOT GALLOP, YOU IDIOT. WE'VE FIGURED YOUR SYSTEM OUT, STOP RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.
Read the Wiki on chocobo raising to find out what the chances are your cards will produce colored offspring. Any lv 8 stat has a 50% chance of giving the chick a lv 2 stat to start, instead of lv 1. That means my two birds, though, yellow, chicks have a 90% chance of color.
37/40 of my bird's chick have been colored. They pair have been valued at 150K, just for that and three inheritable abilities, but i only sell the pair for 40 K.
Learn from the guys who raise birds for profit, and stop ripping people off, becuase then they don't trust us. and then we lose lots of :2cents:
