What do you guys think about the show and do you think they should...even tho they wont bring it back for another season?

I personally love this show alot. something about it just makes it seem great like stewy trying to kill his mother and peters dad taking over peters workplace and so forth its just great.
 
Actually, good news, it is being brought back, Fox noticed the DVD sales and the 400% increase of previous rating on Cartoon Network than on Fox. Most are saying a Spring 2005 date, who knows. But it is coming back, I wish I knew for how many episodes though.
 
I have not watched any network TV since 1997.
Netflix is the way to go, screw network TV!
 
That show freakin' ROCKS! it's hilarious...I liked the one where Capt. Kirk came on and did all the real jerky movements...and the one where they rebuilt a city and then got kicked out, and stewy had all those octopus minions :lol:
 
The show wasnt canceled because of lack of popularity, but because a certain ethnicity started bitching about the last episode where Chris was going to convert. You guys know what episode that is. The show was going insanely strong and was a success but somehow that group of ppl managed to have it canceled. Fortunately Adult Swim is run by a bunch of irreverent assmunches, lol....glad it is too...and they could care less about what offends other ppl. Yea, the DVD sales were high, i have the first season myself. Fox finally took notice and decided to air it as well, so we'll be having Family Guy back on Fox and also cartoon Network. "Life is friggin sweet!"...get the joke...friggin sweet? huh?...huh?*nudge nudge*....alright, that was lame. But even tho the cartoon is being aired, its not in production.....ugh.

Yes, Family Guy is coming back.

No, it wasn't cancelled because of the Jewish episode -- it never aired. (They were allowed to produce it in full, but then Fox decided at the last minute not to show it.) And if you've watched the DVD collections at all, Seth MacFarlane (the creator and voice of Peter/Brian/Stewie -- the good characters) explains their problems and why they were cancelled. Back then, it really was the ratings. Now Cartoon Network has revived it, and thanks to DVD sales... they have enough reason to bring the show back.

It was also funny, because he talked about one episode where Stewie finally realizes he's gay. (Finally putting to rest all speculation, considering all of the closet-homosexual jokes.) But they never made it because they were cancelled. (Maybe now we'll see it.)

Oh. And apparently Seth MacFarlane is also working on a new show, no news on when that will air either.
 
I like Family Guy and was happy when I heard that it was coming back but I would rather have Futurama come back. :wink:

the few episodes ive seen were hilarious, however im with sculli.

network tv truly sux and netflix rox ! thanx to netflix i now have all of Seijun Suzuki's masterpeices
 
I watch it on cable. And not all network tv is bad. Try watching the West Wing.
