Yeah, talk about coming out of nowhere. You'd expect this from Lohan or Britney, not from this guy.
 
This definitely came as a shock seeing as how he wasn't known in the public eye as a substance abuser, so no one could've seen this coming.

It's being said that, as a character actor, he delved so deep into the psychotic mind of the Joker--who he plays in the upcoming Dark Knight film--that he had trouble sleeping more than two hours a night and had to resort to sleeping pills. Whether that had anything to do with his (supposed) overdose is still up in the air.

In any case, RIP Heath.
