Farewell LS

I'm sad to say it but it's time to say farewell. It was a good run and I had a lot of fun with you all. I'm glad we were able to accomplish as much as we did, and to those of you who still have a T4 pop, I'm sorry we couldn't get that done for you. Hopefully you'll find a new LS that will help you get those taken care of.


Mioraem, Darsha, and Mappie: You guys have my sincerest gratitude for your hard work and dedication. You were invaluable to us and I know without you we wouldn't have lasted nearly as long or done nearly as well. Thanks all your support, for always being able to give me a good laugh, and for sticking with me the whole way through.

Darkmen, Emnize, Buns, and Stouter: I'm sorry you guys couldn't stay the whole way through, I know we would have had a lot of fun. However, I do understand that circumstances didn't allow for that to happen. Please know I missed you guys and I'm thankful for everything you gave us.

To everyone else: I had a lot of fun with you guys, I hope you enjoyed your time with us and that you got most (or all) of what you wanted from the znms we killed along the way.

Sorry I haven't been around. School started up and 19 credit hours (15 of them being hardcore classes) plus 20 hours a week of work left me with no motivation to log in.

Good luck to you, FFXI has always been a game, and if you enjoyed it, that's all that matters.

No it doesn't, I made that decision the day I decided that we weren't getting around to popping anymore T4s with the attendance we had been getting for numerous weeks, and had made a deal with SnB to pop the Tyger that I had sitting in my inventory(which I still have), or to buy the body off of them if it didn't drop. I'd also like to add that I didn't purchase said body until weeks after the shell leaders had decided it was best for everyone to go their separate ways.

Honch started doing shout runs for gear, and I definitely didn't intend on letting all of the blood, sweat, and tears we had put into getting that Tyger pop to waste, so I just told him I'd buy the body off of him if they managed to beat Tyger on his pop and it happened to drop. And it did.

I stuck with this shell until the end like I said I would, but personally I think things started going downhill after Emnize, Buns, Darkangel, and Hicant left. With them went our dedicated well geared tanks and healers, so we were constantly on the look out for some who could match their prowess. Things picked back up after a few people like Darkruler, Stouter, and Thistle came a long, but after a few more weeks attendance took another huge dip and things were looking pretty grim.

All in all, it was still a great run, we killed nearly every ZNM without much loss. Ran with a great group of people, and made some good friends on the side. Was proud to have assisted in the leading of this shell. Best of luck to the rest of the shell members in their endeavors.
