You've been an awesome friend to me from day one False and I've really enjoyed your company. You've given me so much advice throughout the game and helped me out a ton. You really made the game enjoyable and I thank you for that. It would have been great to party with you but with my lack of enthusiasm to level and my addiction to Cloth (the touch...the feeel..the fabric of ouuuur life..)

um..yeah. Anyway, I just want to say that when I think of FFXI, I can't help but think of a certain spunky pimpin Taru I know. Hope you have fun in whatever endeavour you plan on taking on.

All kidding aside, it's been fun ingame with ya. I can't really stop you from quitting. I got to that same point as you have where the fun factor was starting to wane. Took 2months off, and a cloth crafting taru unknowingly got me back into the game. (You know who you are ^_^).

Now outside of ffxi, muwahahahahaa, time to excercise that liver of yours.

Yeah... don't delete your char. Give away whatever non-EX stuff you've got, and write down who you gave stuff to. Save all that EX stuff, cancel your account, and in a month, ask yourself if you want to come back. Trust me, you'll be regretting it if you do delete your character, especially since you put a -lot- of work into leveling him.

I dont know what to do anymore. The game is still frustrating, and upsetting to me.

I cant belive all these people telling me to stay, and they dont even know me at all. And I really dont want to seem like an attention whore, I thought this thread would get 4-5 responces, not 4 pages. I guess I made more friends than I thought I did. :D.

Its weird to log in and have half your Friend List say "dont go" and everyone in your ls, 2 people :lol: , say the same thing.

Because it's not just a game.

I've put in close to 60 total days of playtime. And even though I don't play on Ragnarok anymore I still keep Miasma around. I cannot delete him.

I couldn't just stop. It's not only a game to me, it's time spent with friends. Time spent having fun. And time spent making something bigger.

Don't leave us Falsey. :(

Unless you need your FFXi time for RL things that are more important! School, Family, or Work!

well falsey i think a lot of people (probably like myself) who dont know you real well are telling you to stay just because they think you are a cool person from reading the messageboards and hearing people talk about you. I mean, you're a taru, you're a smart ass, and you've got stewy in your signature, what else would people need to be convinced to ask you to stay?

On the other hand people are mentioning to you to not delete your character because the draw of the game might get to you. I mean, yeah. the game has its moments when it sucks hard and they are getting more and more frequent as time goes on. But people are concerned that you might MISS it and want to come back, but dont because you dont want to start at level 1 again. Thats why there is this giant upheaval of "DONT DELETE YOUR CHARACTER."

Honestly falsey, what I would suggest to you is to get rid of your account, but dont delete your character. Give it a month or two, and if you really dont feel like coming back then just delete the char. Who knows, something might come up where you're like, hey, I wanted to do this in the game. I mean its a far chance in hell, but you NEVER KNOW. You can always go back and delete your dude.. I just think that doing that right now would be a little drastic, and you might have a slight chance of regret later.

Screw all this FFXI is like crack blah blah blah stuff. People on this messageboard are all so sappy and stupid about this shit sometimes. From a Pannda's point of view though - you never know, and it wont hurt you to keep the character alive.

hehe ^^ well... I'm glad that Falsey and I got to talk :D and it seems he'll be not deleting his character for now ^^ my offer to him stands as long as he wishes it to. And of coarse we all have bad times.. like today when Twille MPKed us at Charybdis and I died 3 times. Or during Genbu when the shield drop and I lotted a 17 -_- I almost cried then... and being a ditz the whole day didn't help >.> got aggro more than once in sky... oye.. but ya... think this over completely!! ^^v

I agree Falsey. You're a great person. You CAN'T quit. Just take a break from the game for a tad.
