Not really my "gig" per say but after you re-roll 5 times to the same class trying to keep up with your guild (stupid me) you get careless and bored. I'd have rather cheated WoW than play it at that point and put up with the retards it houses. Sadly it resulted in me putting down the game and getting back to FFXI -_- Least here people don't ask me to get nekkid and dance for gold...

Yeah, when I first started out I didn't know the term farming whenever people ingame said they were going to do some farming. I thought at first that maybe FFXI had some extra special thing to it where you can actually go to a farm and do some farming, but I had to ask when I first started out, and now know.

There's a lot of ways to make gil, but you just have to find the best way that works for you.
