Farming Madness: Ryousho

FOUR other spots. One by Outpost , One by ballista, One in the south, and one by Rotmarsh.

I don't go there. Read my lips.

Yeah dick like you.

Silk drop rate there is worse than blood drop rate. Silks are mor frequent drops in Sarutabaruta (sp?)

Never said that. Stop talking out of your ass like an air~biscuit.

No crying. Just said leeches in Zi'Tah were higher level and do drop bloods. That is all.

Whose to say that the thief hadn't just got to the camp? You want to make an absurd claim that a low level has a higher claim at that camp so I made an absurd claim that because he was there before hand it's his camp. Your carebear attitude pisses me off because it makes you a god damn retard.

There are a few leeches at Luremarsh not as many as by Rotmarsh or Hoax. However Rotmarsh and hexmarsh are close enough to run back and forth while waiting for respawn so I count that as one camp if you go for just leeches.

Why the fuck are you crying if you don't farm there anymore? God damn you're a retard. It's not my fault that I'm smarter than other farmers and used AoE weapon skills holding others there on me. That doesn't make me a dick it makes me a better farmer. If they can't compete because I adapted to having 75s there then babies like you can go back to sucking on your mommy's fucking tit while I farm smartly. Get there first kill so that you have all the spawn time you can easily beat a higher level than you.

Did you totally whiff on the point I was making about farming more than one item? I farmed everything near that camp so I could make more gil. It's not my fault dumb fucks like you ONLY go for the leeches. The drop rate may be better in Rolanberry or Sarutabruta, but like hell am I going to be going back and forth from Sarutabruta, which you would bitch even more about YOU'RE 75 farming a level 4 MOB GTFO leave those for the level 4 guys that's a good one dumb ass, to Pashhow that's just fucking retarded. Once again I am the smarter farmer for farming multiple items over one item.

You tried to tell us to go to Zi'tah if we're 75 when it's known that the leeches in Zi'tah have a worse drop rate for beastmen blood not to forget the fact that it's spread out for camps. Jesus I can't believe I had to say it twice.

Yes you are crying about having to compete against higher leveled players for leeches. Just because you don't say something doesn't mean you aren't implying it. Don't like it? Don't farm there. Hell don't farm at all because apparently you can't stand competition.

itt serious business. Farm whatever the fuck you want wherever the fuck you wanna do it. When you head out to farm your intention is to make gil, not to be polite and run around for hours looking for an empty camp. Outpull/outkill their ass and they'll leave. They might not like you but you're getting gil and that's why you left your moghouse. What's next, will people be able to "claim" hnms by showing up first?

And killing NMs without TH2 is a waste of time, amirite.

No, TH4 onry.

Secondly, if you're camping only leeches in Zitah, you're doing it wrong. They don't drop shit, nearly ever.

Who ever said to go there for leechs rather then pashow is.. ehhhhhhhhhhhh

Funnily enough, the day after Ochiudo's Kote became Ochimusha Kote, I was DRK/THF and got the drop 1/1. I spent the next 3 days trying to get Sarutobi Kyahan. Think I ended up in the neighborhood of 1/20. Funny thing was, at one point, I had claimed Quu like 4 times in a row, and to no avail. 5th time he popped and I got claim, I invited a THF CC with TH4 to help me kill so I wouldn't CC him anymore. Nothing. Came back next day after work NIN/WAR and got the drop.

How can some people get shit 1/1 without TH, while people with TH3 and 4 don't?

o.o he sounds rmtish... or is it just me?

I have to admit I find it amusing when people come in and say things like ... "Flame on" Trying to pretend they don't care. But then a post or two later they're responding to all sorts of posts defending and explaining. Doesn't work that way buddy, but nice try.

SE's way of slapping TH4s across the face I suppose.

I remember a friend of mine went 0/90+ on Sozu before the Thief Knife change, dropped for him finally, then about a month later they made the change, then the knife dropped to about 200k. Irony is sucks sometimes :/

I see what your saying, but this is kind of a bad example <,< consider both those nm's drop one or the other item 100% of the time. So having TH1-4 is just going to increase those two odds equally. Making it no different than it was to start.

I guess I should use Sozu Sarberry as an example then. I'm currently around 0/40ish on him. At least 25 of those kills, I've had a TH3 THF with me. No Hocho still. There was one instance where we had ran upstairs to pop another NM in between PH respawns, and got held up. We got back to Sozu Sarberry and found a NIN/WHM soloing, who got the drop.

In my experiences, I've found drops to work something like this:

Valkurm Emperor for example. VE's drops to my knowledge include Insect Wing, Damselfly Worm, Crystal (if you get exp), Beastmen Seal (If you get exp), and that damn Empress Hairpin.

Now let's say for instance the hairpin has a 5% drop rate. You kill VE, and the hairpin doesn't drop. The next time he's killed the drop rate increases a little bit, but not much. Eventually though, his drop rate is going to hit 100%. Of course Treasure Hunter affects the drop rate, but only by a %. So if TH1 is an extra 5% (I don't know if that's right but for my example), that first VE kill would only be 10% drop rate. I believe that's how TH4 even doesn't help on drops sometimes. If TH4 for example bumps you up 40%, add that onto the 5% and you still have less than a 50% chance for it to drop. I honestly believe its a matter of luck more than anything. Some people have good luck, some have crap. I've killed numerous NMs many times in my FFXI career, and seen rare stuff drop without TH, seen it drop with TH, and seen nothing without TH or with it.

Each chance you fight something your shot at getting the item to drop doesn't increase though. It's your base 5% each time. Like, if you flip a coin you have a 50% shot of heads over tails, regardless of what you flipped the time before. Overall if you fight something the likelyhood of a drop will increase, but it won't go up like 5%, then 10%, then 15%, the overall % chance of getting a drop is still very low.

You wanna kill whatever wherever with whatever job. Go for it. I don't care. I'm not telling anyone how to play the game. I just meant too high for that camp. If you want to spend hours farming for beastman bloods in Pashow then have fun!!

hahahahahahahahaha

That's seriously funny.

Oh crap! I just leveled up. I can't farm there anymore. :(

Wow. Biggest woosh ever on the Treasure Hunter II comment. I was hoping some of our senior members would grasp it.../sigh

Yeah Treasure Hunter only adds a certain percentage to the chance of a something being dropped. It stays the same on each kill no matter how many times killed. The drop rate does not get better or worse. Treasure Hunter does not stack after each kill so the whole 100% drop thing is not right i'm sorry.
